Dear Colleagues
I hope you all are well. This has been a busy summer here with record heat and record pollen allergies. I have been busy updating all our notes for the seminar Jay Wilson and I will be teaching September 18th in Denver. A flier for the seminar accompanies this newsletter. For those of you that get the email version of the newsletter, you will probably not get a flier through the mail so use the one that you get on email to sign up. It will be well suited for both the advanced and beginning practitioner. Most practitioners that do this work have more patients than they can handle, and if you want it is very simple to have a predominantly cash practice. I haven’t had to write a report or bill an insurance company in years, which for me is great. I would rather see patients than do paperwork. As you become more expert in the techniques, it is not unusual to attract patients who travel great distances to see you (this summer I have had patients travel from as far as Russia, the east coast, Arizona, California, etc.) The techniques are very simple to learn and follow, and start up costs are low. I encourage you all to come.
CASE HISTORY
Most of the case histories I write in the newsletter are short and when we correct dysbiosis, food sensitivities and replenish nutrients all kinds of chronic symptoms go away quickly. I write those up because they are easy to write and the results are fast and dramatic and the patients are very happy as a result. There are a large percentage of patients that fit into this category.
All of us also have chronic patients that respond much slower. Sammy is a 45 year old accountant who has been disabled with MS (secondary progressive) since 1989. Symptoms started in 1987 and seem to correspond to some remodeling he was doing using chemical solvents to strip tiles in his house. He uses crutches to walk and his stamina was very poor when he first came in. Summer times were especially terrible as he became exhausted from the heat. He was on welbutrin and clonapin. In 1991 he
had his amalgams removed but no change in symptoms was experienced. Over the past 16 years it has just been a downward progression. We found no dysbioisis or food sensitivities. He did need the following supplements: Glutathione (1 cap t.i.d.), Carnityl (1 cap t.i.d.), Thiocid (1 cap t.i.d.) (all by Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966). These were suggestive of chemical involvement as was his case history. We also have put him on various essential fatty acid combinations and Probiomine (MT Labs 1-970-433-2644). We retest Sammy monthly. There have been no miraculous overnight changes but instead of going progressively downhill as has been his pattern, he has gone progressively uphill over these 3 months since he first came in. His balance is steadier, he no longer needs his prescriptions, and his energy level is better than it has been in 15 years despite the record summer heat. He is very excited about the results so far.
The supplements he needs so far are pretty stable as are his findings on each visit. We are also experimenting with some new remedies/techniques which we will write about if we find they contribute significantly to his progress. We have had a number of MS patients who have remained symptom free for many years when we have gotten to start treatment earlier in the progression of the condition. Long standing cases do progress, but patients must have patience (some give up when not “cured” overnight). It is a much better route to take than heavy immune suppressant prescriptions.
Those of you that are treating pollen “allergies”, they respond very quickly if you treat dysbiosis and food sensitivities at the same time. After doing that and the mixed pollen vial weakens (AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625), it is usually negated by either SB313 and/or HMC Hesperidin and/or QC nasal spray (Thorne). Desensitizing and supplementing usually brings excellent results. There is also an NL reflex directly inferior to the clavicle (the whole length) that should be vigorously rubbed.
VIDEO ON SALE
After our September 2005 seminar our 2003 video will no longer be offered for sale. Between now and then as long as supplies last we will offer the video at a $100 discounted price of $150. There will be revisions in our upcoming seminar but for those of you in a hurry to get started or if you haven’t been to one of our classes in a number of years, this is an excellent tool to learn from and enhance your results on patients.

SUCCESSFULLY TREATING
THE CHRONIC PATIENT
A Seminar taught by Dr Michael Lebowitz & Dr Jay Wilson
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2005
This seminar is geared to teach the physician a simple to use, effective protocol to treat patients with chronic fatigue, allergies, chemical sensitivities, dysbiosis (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, spirochete and viral infections), food sensitivities, altered intestinal permeability, toxic metal problems, adrenal and endocrine dysfunction, lymphatic dysfunction, nutritional imbalances, and chronic subluxations.
You will be taught our diagnostic and treatment techniques plus the academics behind it along with lab work you can do to complement it should the patient or physician want "more objective" findings. This will help people with most chronic diseases including: headaches, arthritis, auto-immune diseases, gastrointestinal problems, chronic pain, depression, memory lapses, asthma, migraines, fatigue and many other longstanding and acute symptoms.
A knowledge of basic muscle testing is helpful. For those of you that have been to previous seminars this will have all the essential basic and advanced techniques revamped, faster, and even more effective than before as well as new clinical and academic information. The highest quality nutritional products and the pros and cons of all available lab screenings are taught.
For the beginner, you will easily be able to master the techniques and include them in your practice. Quick, long lasting results will lead to a very satisfied patient base with many referrals.
