I hope you all are well. I will be heading to Hawaii in mid-September and able to see patients and teach classes there throughout the winter (on Maui and possibly Oahu). We also hope to see many of you at our Oct 28th San Francisco seminar. Marijuana
Living in WA state you can’t help but see marijuana billboards and ads virtually everywhere and while it does have some positive therapeutic effects, it also has it’s share of negative effects. In 2017, 55 million people in the US used marijuana- so there is a good chance that it includes a decent per centage of your patients. Since long term use can cause some negative effects we advise you to either get the recreational drug test kit (AK Test Kits 970-201-7406) or buy the cannabis resin vial and the marijuana vial from the kit (kit also has nicotine, and 11 other vials). Test an indicator muscle for weakening and/or hypertonicity. Sometimes it only shows over specific areas of the brain. When it does test positive it is often negated by Glypho-X Supreme (Supreme Nutrition 800-922-1744) which clinically appears to help the patient with degradation and excretion of any sequestered components of it (some of this research goes back to work done by Brent Davis DC in the 1990s on basil). The other components of Glypho-X seem to complement the effect. We have been putting people on 2 caps 3x/day for a bottle and then retesting.
Long term marijuana use is linked to learning, memory, and attention issues, changes in the amygdala, hippocampus, and prefrontal cortex, various psychiatric issues, postural hypotension, etc.
Like most herbs it does have its time and place but it can easily be abused too. Start testing on patients and share your results with me.
Tips from other docs
1) From Jacob Bastomski DC
I am using all three estrogen vials that I have from AKTestKits@aol.com, and they are Estrone, Estriol and beta-Estradiol/17 beta Estradiol, so 3 estrogen vials by them self-test negative. Copper by itself tests negative but put the 4 vials together and they potentially react. I am doing this by themselves without a provocation vial in the mix. This in women.
In men testosterone by itself negative, Mercury by itself, negative. Put the two vials together and potentially positive. Not that mercury does not show by itself, of course it does. Just another check on an important toxic metal.
2) From Richard Spina DC
I was wondering if you ever suspected Biofilms and couldn't get a weakness in a muscle. This has happened to me and I notice that if I tested the infraspinatus it would weaken and then it would weaken over the master set points. Just thought I'd tell you.
3) From Onnie Thatcher DC
Wanted to share with you if a patient doesn't show for lectins off of TFL, try the ileocecal valve. A couple of patients have tested that way. Perhaps you already do it, but just wanted to pass it along.

Personal note
Back when Cynthia and I met in 1980 we wanted to have a small natural homestead in Hawaii but a number of things popped up and we never were able to fulfill that dream. Now 38 years later we are giving it a go (at least for 6 months a year). We purchased a 2 acre property with fruit trees, garden beds, a greenhouse, chickens, ducks, bees and a solar system.
