Dear Colleagues;

I hope you are well. We look forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming ICAK conference in San Diego. Noah and I will be presenting a preconference seminar on microbes Thursday (July 25th) morning as well as a talk in the afternoon going over how we helped a family all disabled with chronic Lyme and a short talk on rarer toxic metals and their prevalence in the AK practice. For info on the conference go to https://dcikansascity.eventsair.com/QuickEventWebsitePortal/2019-icak-usa-annual-meeting/2019-icakusa/Agenda

Noah and I will be teaching the most up to date complete version of our protocol next in Atlanta Sept 15th. Details are below:

This class teaches an effective, easy, and fast way to "diagnose" and treat dysbiosis (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, viral, Lyme), food reactions, lectin sensitivities, metal and chemical toxicity/sensitivity, coagulation issues, organ dysfunction, EMF issues, and much more. It is well suited to both the newcomer to the Lebowitz protocol as well as physicians who have been following Dr. Lebowitz's work for many years.

A basic ability to perform manual muscle testing is necessary to utilize these techniques. Correcting the abovementioned issues can help alleviate many symptoms, including various gastro-intestinal issues, dermatological and respiratory problems, fatigue, brain fog, headaches, inflammatory conditions, fibromyalgia, auto-immune issues, neurological symptoms, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, etc.

New techniques to help eliminate false negatives, which are very common in muscle testing, are discussed and demonstrated as well as false positives which often occur frequently in supplement testing. The class comes with a full, easy to follow, set of notes and Drs. Lebowitz is always easily accessible to answer questions you may have after you have starting implementing the material.

Dr. Michael Lebowitz (developer of the original protocol) is a prolific writer, having authored 4 books, over 60 articles, and a free monthly newsletter for over 19 years (you can subscribe and read back issues on this site). He attracts patients from around the globe and treats many professional athletes (MLB, NHL, NFL, cyclists, runners, boxers, ballet, etc.), entertainers, as well as many physicians, and everyone else. When treating and correcting dysbiosis (fungus, parasites, bacteria, virus, etc.), food sensitivities, toxic metals and chemicals, nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, structural imbalances, and more, he has found that a majority of chronic and acute symptoms often resolve and the patient is restored to a better state of health.

Dr. Noah Lebowitz has been teaching with his father and on his own the last 4 years. He has a practice in Tacoma WA and specializes in patients with chronic illness. He has also treated many professional athletes including NHL, MLB, PGA, etc. players. He routinely has patients flying in from out of state, and has made house calls across the USA and to other countries.

Recent Case Histories

1) Submitted by physician who took our 2018 London seminar

Had a quick look at my notes and this is a short brief of what I did with the lady that was due to have a radioactive iodine test done for her hyper thyroid:

1st visit:

T4 was 29 (10-19 normal)

She tested for fungus1, ricketsia, parasites 1,2,3, virus 1+2 and bacteria 1 (Lebowitz protocol kit 800-201-7406). All cancelled by Melia Supreme (Supreme Nutrition 800-922-1744).

She also tested for Takesumi Supreme, ADE oil, Mg carb, Adenosylcobalamin and zinc citrate.

2nd visit 3 weeks later:

Tired 4-5 days after last visit then more energy. Brain fog better.

Ovaries was her primary organ (the lymf point that balanced all other muscles).

H pylori, ricketsia and protozoa vials were positivie- Vital Guard Supreme cancelled.

P5P showed that it balanced T4 as well as rev T3.

Also wanted Camu Supreme, Takesumi Supreme mg citrate and zinc citrate

3rd visit:

T4 improved from 29 to 19. (range is 10-19)

T3 was just 1p above range.

Ovaries still primary organ

baceria 2 and ricketsia – Morinda Supreme cancelled

Also wanted takesumi Supreme ADE oil, zinc citrate, P5P and mg citrate.

4th visit:

T4 was 13.4

No microbes showed

Teres minor muscle was OK for the first time in my tests.

Primary organ was adrenals.

Wanted: Camu Supreme, Takesumi Supreme, iron -c, d3, Mg carbonate

5th visit:

Blood results from test done just before her 4th visit came back - all values improved and within range. Her radioactive iodine test that was due has now been cancelled. feeling great.

Primary organ adrenals again.

Wanted zinc , mg citrate, shisandra Supreme, Endo Supreme and P5p.

All in all a very happy client ;)

I included this even though it wasn’t a strict version of our protocol since the results were excellent and we had pre and post labs.

2) Submitted by Luke Pietrantone DC- Buffalo

A 64 year old female presented to the office severe vertigo with multiple episodes since 2003, when she received a diagnosis of Meniere' Disease. With twin grand-babies about to be born, she had a goal of being able to help take care of them. For the past 2 years the only thing that seemed to help for a short time was steroid injections into the ear. The patient reported dizziness with all ROM of the neck or if the treatment table was being moved up or down. She was unable to drive.

AK testing showed weakness in the entire right hip, entire left shoulder and multiple cranials all on the left side. The patient reported the vertigo seemed to emanate from the left ear. Bilateral CO/C1/C2 restriction was present. All these finding were negated with TL to small intestine and large intestine alarm points as well as related Chapman reflexes. Moderate to severe atrophy of the suboccipital muscles was noted as well. Lebowitz testing showed Fungus 1, Fungus 2, Fungus 3 and Mixed Candida vials. These were negated by Morinda Supreme and Camu Supreme. Liver support was indicated for which Bodyguard Supreme tested. At the second visit, one month later, the patient reported drastic improvement with only one severe episode of vertigo a week. Testing with Lebowitz protocol showed Fungus 2 and Candida. These were negated by Smilax Supreme and SF722 from Thorne. A need for liver support was negated by LivCo from Mediherb. Weekly sessions to facilitate the muscles of the neck, mobilize the upper cervical joints and home neck rehab was started. After 4 sessions the patient had sustained dramatic improvement with only mild vertigo when she turned her head to the end ROM of cervical rotation. When she returned 3 weeks later her vertigo was back again fully. When asked if anything had changed she said she had been taking antibiotics for a possible sinus infection. Testing showed Fungus 2 and Fungus 3 which were negated by Melia Supreme. At her followup 3 weeks later the patient had zero vertigo symptoms. 4 more sessions of muscle, joint, cranial work and cervical rehab and she was completely free of symptoms. She was able to drive and take care of her grandchildren and remains symptoms free.

When the patient took antibiotics half way through treatment I commented that I wished we could, "know if she was on antibiotics when this whole thing started because clearly yeast was the main issue." She said she would check because she kept detailed health records of everything she ever done medically. In the 2 years before all her symptoms started she had 6 rounds of antibiotics (one of which was 2 months before the first vertigo attack) and 3 rounds of Diflucan for resultant yeast infections.

INTERESTING INFO

Carl DeStefano DC sent me some info on toxoplasmosis and personality traits. With the increase of risk taking and thrill seeking in our population in recent years (correlated with toxo infections), maybe the % of infected people is even higher. I found it quite interesting and am going to pull the 2 toxoplasmosis vials out of the protozoa kit and see what I start finding. The CDC estimates 11% of the US population has it and about 60% infection rate in hot humid countries. One interesting article is https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/253802.php

MATERIALS AVAILABLE FROM DR. MICHAEL LEBOWITZ

1. DVD or Vimeo: Treating the Complex Patient 2018: This seminar, approximately 4 1/2 hours long will teach the physician a simple to apply, effective protocol to treat patients with chronic fatigue, allergies, chemical sensitivities, intestinal dysbiosis, (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, spirochete, and viral infections), food sensitivities, food toxin intolerance, hypercoagulation problems, toxic metal issues, endocrine dysfunction, nutritional imbalances, chronic pain and subluxations, fibromyalgia, etc. The seminar is suited for both the novice and the advanced practitioners in our work and is much updated from our last one. A complete set of notes accompanies the DVD. Seminar DVD or VIMEO

4. Body Restoration An Owners Manual - An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health. The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to recommend to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. It is available for $1.99 on kindle at https://www.amazon.com/Body-Restoration-Owners-Manual-ebook/dp/B0050653C4/

5. Body Restoration Cookbook - This companion volume to the above book was written by Cynthia Lebowitz and is now available free online (donations accepted). A wonderful tool for your patients as it contains almost 100 recipes- most without gluten, dairy, nightshades, etc. Body Restoration Cookbook

6. God’s Preventative Medicine- my latest book. It explains how the Levitical Priests dealt with fungal dysbiosis both preventatively and treatment wise as well as the reasons behind some of the other health laws of the Torah. It is a short easy to understand book and fascinating for the student of health and the Bible God's Preventative Medicine
