Case history- Elva Edwards DC Denver, CO
I saw a young woman with two small children, one was 3 years old and the other 3 months. She came in because she was afraid she and her children had fungus issues as they discovered mold where they were living. They had moved as a result but were concerned. She had seen Dr. Noah on Instagram and self-prescribed Scutellaria Supreme (Supreme Nutrition products) before she saw me. She said her gut improved with that. She had on her intake form that she had alopecia. I asked her about it. She reported she is completely bald. (she had on a wig). She told me when she was 3 months old, all of her hair fell out. From that time until she was 12, she would have times when she had hair and then it would all fall out. Her parents took her to the doctor many times--they had no idea what caused it. She said she thought she was vaccine injured. Right about 3 months she had the Hep B vaccine. Then I tested her. No organisms. Do you know how rare that is? But when I got to metals, she started testing. Tested to ALL of them. She needed Takesumi Supreme for the metals. I asked where she was from. She was born and lived in Lancaster, CA. I said, "do you know if they have any mining around there.” She looked at me and said, "My dad was a miner." Oh really. I said, "He didn't work for a gold mine did he?" She was shocked. YES! He loved his career as a miner. He travelled the world.” Mercury is used extensively in gold mines! And her 3-year-old had no organism imbalance. The baby would only nurse on one side, until she got her first adjustment. Now she is happy on either side.
Dr L It will be interesting how the alopecia does but the reason we presented this is these kinds of things happen relatively often. The findings like metals in this case are then confirmed by more questions of the patient’s history. I have also had cases where metals were the primary finding and then on questioning found significant exposure in the patient’s past. To me it helps confirm the accuracy of our testing methods and it is just very cool when the “puzzle pieces fit together”.
We also had a similar alopecia case in a woman who lived next to a formaldehyde belching plant in rural CO.
Case History Michael Lebowitz
Jim flew in from Central America for a 2 week intensive where he was treated 5 days a week. He came with type 2 diabetes with his blood sugar running in the mid 300s non medicated and 140 while on 1000 mg metformin daily. His blood pressure unmedicated was 190/110 and with medication 140/110 (Concor), Nucleo CMP Forte for neuropathy, as well as pain meds, anti-inflammatories and levothyroxine. We had an MD backup to approve changes in medication. He was put on a strict diet of salad, cucumber juice, meats, fish, and some cooked veggies and white rice. He also took the following Supreme Nutrition Supplements- Olive Leaf, Schisandra, Golden Thread, Camu, Takesumi, Manjistha (all higher than usual doses as we were on limited time) as well as Thornes Alpha Lipoic Acid
Interesting he didn’t test for microbes. Lots of metals showed near the end of his stay. We sent him for 3 lymph massages too. There is much more to this case I may report another time. After about 3 days he was off all medications except thyroxine. His blood pressure averaged about 132/77 and his glucose after a meal topped at 140 with a base between 103 and 120 which better than on metformin. He also lost 10 pounds and looked and felt better (his first pain free day he could remember). We only made maybe 25% progress on his neuropathy. We put him on a strict home program and will follow up as best as we can. Even though I wanted a miracle and have him 100% asymptomatic, I think for 2 weeks to from 6 meds to 1 and to move from full blown diabetes to a more pre-diabetic state and not have hypertension anymore was quite significant.
