Case History by Michael Lebowitz
I wanted to start with a case history. Nothing spectacular but this is a fairly typical one and fairly normal results and improvement between visit 1 and 2 for the majority of patients we see. We expect more resolution as time goes by.
Just coming from the Forum of Integrative Medicine Conference with some great docs, I saw how fast our results are who use applied kinesiology. Part of it is so we can individualize the diet and supplements. Also, the structural work we do helps reset the body, so to speak so we do not get nervous system inhibition on exposures to many stressors. Thirdly, the exposure with to stressors followed by a neurological test sets up neurological recognition with helps the body to assist in the process.
Laura is a 41-year-old woman who came in with the following complaints: moderate gastrointestinal distress including nausea, low energy, frequent illnesses, foot pain, anxiety/depression, poor memory, hair loss, and what she called hormones out of balance. All this had started in 2019 after swimming in a fresh water pool. Nothing else in her history was significant.
Running her through the Lebowitz Protocol she showed on the following vials from the test kit: Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Parasite 2, Candida, Bartonella, Caffeine, Albumin, Zein, Nickel.
The following supplements tested as appropriate: Melia, Dan Shen, Golden Thread, Astragulus (all Supreme Nutrition Products) and L-Tyrosine (Pure Encapsulations). We took her off all + foods as well as all refined sweetening and fungal fermented foods.
She came back in 3 weeks (I prefer 2 weeks but we couldn’t co-ordinate our schedules). Her energy was back to normal and her memory was greatly improved. Her anxiety had decreased significantly. Her foot pain had decreased (possibly due to the Dan Shen helping Bartonella?) and this was the first time “in ages” she had a period with no cramping and no mood swings.
Testing showed + on 1 viral vial only. We took her off the 4 Supreme Nutrition Products (they now caused inhibition of a facilitated indicator muscle which we take as a sign that she is done). She needed to continue the L-Tyrosine and need to add Alaria and Vital Guard (both by Supreme).
This shows how addressing the dysbiosis and some food reactions can lead to profound diminishing of symptoms in just a few short weeks. That has been the norm in what we see. It there is no improvement, that is when really in depth detective work must take over.

For a while I thought I had PCOS because I had all the symptoms. I started taking chaste tree, schisandra, and albizia from your company. I have only taken these products for a couple months and for the first time in almost 2 years, my DHEA IS IN RANGE! I was absolutely shocked. I’d like to thank you for formulating the BFB oils. I’m currently treating a pseudomonas and staph infection, without using conventional treatments, and within a few days of using the BFB 1 and 2, and the golden thread, the improvement is significant, and can tell their kicking it’s ass! Short Case History by newly graduated great AK doc in SC Dr Curtis Criswell
I now realize as a doctor 4 months into practice how valuable my time spent learning AK has proven to be. As I have begun treating patients, there is one patient of mine that easily stands out. I received a call from a new patient referred to me seeking care for vertigo. Even though we scheduled her exam for in-office, she called the day of unable to drive and come in for the exam. Later that week I went to her house for the exam and to begin treatment the next week. Her vertigo symptoms left her unable to care for her husband suffering with Alzheimer’s, unable to play with her grandchildren, and every task took her about an extra 2 hours to deal with the vertigo symptoms. At the time of her exam her BP was 188/122. This presentation was incredibly challenging to do a complete bed-side examination without setting off the vertigo symptoms. As a new graduate, I still felt entirely equipped and prepared with knowledge to treat this patient, even though I was only 3 months out of school, mainly thanks to my AK training. We began her treatment plan, which included supplement testing of Supreme Nutrition products. Based on her presentation, history, symptoms, and supplement testing, she was placed on Hemo Guard Supreme. She is sensitive to supplements and pharmaceuticals, so we started her on a low dose of only 1 capsule a day for the 1st week. On her 5th day of the supplement her blood pressure was down to 140/100. The following week she was able to drive to the office for treatment and reported her at home BP reading that morning was 120/90! I was blown away at how quickly she began to recover after only 2 weeks of treatment (4 visits) and 1 week of supplementing with Hemo Guard Supreme.
