We hope you are well. I hope to see quite a few of you at the ICAK meeting this month in Palm Springs.
Fungal problems seem to be more and more common in the news these days; from a fungus infested office building in CA that caused much illness to a report on the TV news to treat your toothbrush with UV light due to the presence of growth of candida they have found on toothbrushes.
We have also gotten some wonderful feedback on people mixing captomer with flax oil and applying it to chronic musculo-skeletal injuries (if metal like Hg test positive over the joint). Some previously non-responsive cases have shown much improvement. See the previous newsletter (Issue 110 May 2000) for details on its application.
PRODUCT OF THE MONTH
1. New laser (Mid American Marketing 1 800-922-1744). This is a 655-nanometer 4-milliwatt laser for $69.95. This laser has an option to pulse the light. We have found that pulsing it is great for treating acupuncture points including B&E points, master set points and neurolymphatics. We have also found that applying the pulse light to a subluxated vertebrae will in many cases correct the subluxation. I have spent approximately $10,000 over the years on lasers and I find this one very therapeutically effective and a great price. You can also have a steady light with it instead of the pulsing and it will shine as a point or a line.
CASE HISTORY
1) Julie, a 41-year-old female, has had chronic intermittent hives for many years that have been worsening every year. They are partially helped by antihistamines. Other complaints include left side sciatica, forgetfulness, PMS, ovulation pain, and constipation.
We found evidence of fungal and parasitic involvement, dairy and tomato sensitivities and copper and lead sensitivities. We desensitized her and supplemented with SF722, Artecin, and Basic Nutrients III (all Thorne Research 1 800-221-1966).
Julie returned 3 weeks later symptom free and remains so 3 months later. She continues off dairy only and on a maintenance of Basic Nutrients III. We also added Thiocid to her regimen.
2) Susan, a 47 year-old female, suffered from headaches for 20 years induced by both noise and electromagnetic fields. They started one year after getting married. She was a metal smithing major in college. The headaches were debilitating and fairly constant due to her work. She also had much fatigue.
We found evidence of fungal involvement, sensitivity to nightshades, dairy and orange. She weakened on aluminum, copper, and mercury. We desensitized her and placed her on SF722, Metabalance, Metaplex, and Basic Nutrients I (all Thorne).
She returned 19 days later with good energy and a 90% reduction in headaches (now they lasted 5-10 minutes instead of hours).
We still found aluminum and mercury and supplemented with Basic Nutrients I, Metabalance, Glutathione, Captomer, and Cal-Mag Citrate effervescent powder. We have seen Susan 2 more times and she remains well. Her present supplements include B complex #1, Citramins II, and Captomer as needed.
I often find bad reactions to electro-magnetic fields are secondary to metal problems, which proved to be true in Susan's case.
