Dear Colleagues:

I hope you are all well. It was great seeing many of you at the ICAK meeting in Palm Springs. Unfortunately, there were so many folks I wanted to catch up with that I spent more time in the hall renewing friendships than I did seeing the presentations. Then again sharing one on one with colleagues is a great way to learn and spend time.

Despite my product of the month section of this newsletter, I remain a skeptic concerning most new products. I like to have them tested on my chronic patients and me before forming a preliminary opinion. In the case of some of the more expensive products at the vendors' booths at ICAK- I would grab friends to test them, according to different testing protocols of mine. One product which I had a lot of initial skepticism about I am at this time very enthused about. I have only had it a little over 3 weeks to experiment so far, but I have seen excellent results on preliminary testing and perhaps more importantly on myself.

PRODUCT OF THE MONTH

Eyelights (877 717-3936) - Peter Jaillet - an AKer and a neurological whiz developed these glasses. Not being a neuro-whiz like Peter and more just a clinical investigator, I beg you to forgive my lay terminology in describing these.

This product was designed to stimulate the brain via the optic nerve. It is a pair of glasses that come with 5 different sets of lenses, each a different color. It also has an attached programmable device that has 4 different options of LED flashes so you can emphasize stimulation of either right or left temporal or parietal lobe. Most of the research has been on increasing athletic performance and helping ADHD children with reported good results.

I decided to test it on my chronic patients with toxic metals and proneness to recurring infections. First we would see which color lens would strengthen a weak

G-2 muscle and use that color. We would do the same with the flash patterns and use that pattern. Then after assembling the glasses with those options that tested best, I found that if testing during the flashing it would block positive AK tests on fungal and food antigen and metals. If left on for a full 2 minutes it would act as a "desensitization procedure" like the master set points or possibly IRT. If you found a weak muscle that needed work - i.e. right gluteus medius and then put the glasses on for a few minutes - it would then test strong. It would not fix muscles you did not pre-test.

I found that most of my chronic patients at least initially need the yellow lens with right temporal lobe stimulation. I do not know why that is. Of the 15 of 30 people I have experimented on, only 2 did not meet that pattern: a patient with diabetes and one with cancer. The patient with diabetes had a 54 point drop in blood sugar (within 60 minutes) after 10 minutes on the glasses.

I have sold 5 pairs so far and am awaiting feedback from patients on what they do long term. What has impressed me is the results on me so far. I typically get 2 headaches a weak that I feel are food and/or mercury induced (though the foods that cause them are not fixed allergens). Chiropractic, good AK, etc. do not help (despite the fact that I can fix this symptom in virtually all of my patients). The longest I have gone without a headache is 7 days. This has been an affliction for over 30 years and I am at least a 3rd generation sufferer. I started the eyelights 15 days ago. It took me 2 days to work up to 20 minutes, 3x/daily due to minor dizziness the 1st few times. (It takes a short period to adapt) I have stayed on right temporal lobe stimulation but 3 days ago switched from the yellow lens to what looks like a dark green. Despite a horrendous diet the past 2 weeks -my family is visiting my in-laws, so I fend for myself - I have had no headaches the whole time, which is my longest headache free stretch I can remember. The eyelights are the only new variable that I have introduced.

So, on my initial evaluation I am quite impressed and I thank Peter for his innovation. I feel it could be another piece of the puzzle. We do a great job on the spine, and bio-chemically but what if the weak link in the brain isn't sending optimal signals to other parts of the body to do its job? Health will be compromised. I would recheck the lens color and flash pattern periodically on patients. I encourage you to call Peter and buy a few pair and share your results with me. I also found, so far, adjustments to me are holding better. My sensitivity to mercury is lessening, though I still need Captomer to chelate it out. It is as if it is still in there by my body is coping with it better.

For those of you that would like to come we still conduct one on one seminars here at our home. The schedule is somewhat flexible if you give us a few weeks notice. I feel these workshops are very productive as we can get a lot accomplished in a relatively short time period. When we teach one on one you can bring a family member as a test subject and get treated yourself, too. The cost is a very reasonable $300.

APPEAL

So far only 20 of the 850 or so physicians that receive this newsletter have asked that I email the newsletter to them instead of snail mail. Please email noach2343@aol.com to let us know if you would like to be switched. It would make things easier for us. Thank you.

MATERIAL AVAILABLE FROM DR. MICHAEL LEBOWITZ

1. VIDEO: Correcting Chronic Health Problems 1998: This video seminar approximately 5 hours long will teach the physician a simple to apply, effective protocol to treat patients with chronic fatigue, allergies, chemical sensitivities, intestinal dysbiosis, (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, and viral infections), food sensitivities, altered intestinal permeability, toxic metal problems, endocrine dysfunction, nutritional imbalances, chronic pain and subluxation. Knowledge of basic muscle testing is helpful. A complete protocol is taught that you can start using immediately to treat even the most chronic patients. The video is suited for both the novice and the advanced practitioners in our work. A complete set of advanced notes accompanies the video. This video supersedes our previous ones and was taped at our 11/1/98 Las Vegas Seminar. The cost is $200 ppd.

CORRECTING CHRONIC HEALTH PROBLEMS

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA SEMINAR

February 27, 2000 Dear Colleagues:

I am happy to announce a seminar I will be co-teaching with Jay Wilson DC at the Holiday Inn Select, Fort Myers (941-482-2900) on Sunday, Feb. 27th from 9-5. The seminar fee is $200 if paid by Feb. 1st, otherwise $225. Students and CA's are $100. This seminar will teach the physician a simple to apply, effective protocol to treat patients with chronic fatigue, allergies, chemical sensitivities, intestinal dysbiosis (fungal, bacterial, parasitic and viral infections), food sensitivities, altered intestinal permeability, toxic metal problems, adrenal and endocrine dysfunction, lymphatic dysfunction, nutritional imbalances, and chronic subluxations. This will help people with most chronic diseases including headaches, arthritis, auto-immune diseases, gastrointestinal problems, chronic pain, depression, memory lapses and many others. A knowledge of basic muscle testing is helpful. The seminar is geared to both the beginning and advanced practitioner and will be a balanced blend of both academics and techniques that you can apply right away. For those of you that have been to previous seminars this will have all the essential basic and advanced techniques as well as enough new information to make it worthwhile to attend.
