Dear Colleagues:

I hope you all are well. Jay Wilson and I are planning a new seminar for September. It will teach the newest version of our complete protocol to treat the chronic patient. It will utilize the new test vials we recommend (Test Kit consultants 1-970-243-0477) and it is definitely the fastest, most thorough and efficient version of the protocol we have ever presented. It will be our only classroom style seminar of the year and will be here in Grand Junction. The main purpose will be to come out with a high quality video of the class to make available to all of you. We will not be sending out flyers for this class but we are opening it up to a limited number of doctors who want to make the trek out to Grand Junction. It will be small and informal so it should be a great opportunity to learn. The date for the class is Sunday Sept. 14th from 9AM to approximately 5PM and it will be at our home/office. Cost is $250 and you must call to reserve your spot . Having the microbial, food and metal test kits from Test Kit Consultants and bringing them along is not mandatory but will make it easier for you to participate in the workshopping portions as we will not have any extra available (they do take about 2 weeks to get them from time of ordering).

The seminar will teach the physician a simple to apply, effective protocol to treat patients with chronic fatigue, allergies, chemical sensitivities, intestinal dysbiosis, (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, and viral infections), food sensitivities, altered intestinal permeability, toxic metal problems, endocrine dysfunction, nutritional imbalances, chronic pain and subluxations, headaches, asthma, auto-immune problems, etc. Knowledge of basic muscle testing is helpful. A complete protocol is taught that you can start using immediately to treat even the most chronic patients. The class is suited for both the novice and the advanced practitioners in our work. A complete set of notes accompanies the class.

Our office is 4 miles from the Grand Junction airport and there are many hotels near the airport.

We are anticipating that the video should be available within a few days of the seminar so feel free to send in advanced orders at $250 per set which will also include our newest set of notes.

FYI

1. There was a report published last month positively correlating the likelihood of infection by helicobacter pylori with low serum vitamin C levels. The researchers were not sure whether the infection lowered vitamin C levels or if the lower levels made people more prone but either way they felt that increasing vitamin C intake could be useful. We have also told you how we have found that most helicobacter infections come from eating eggs and/or poultry. This is fairly easily preventable if you are eating these products at home by washing your hands after eating the uncooked products but it is much harder to prevent when eating out as we cannot control the habits of the food handlers or the cleanliness of the surfaces we use. Most parasites we find come from eating out (with water being the 2nd most common culprit). Some people are definitely more prone than others to acquire these microbes when exposed to them and it might be a good idea to eat foods that are anti-parasitic to help prevent implantation. These foods can include garlic, pumpkin seeds and lemongrass.

Since utilizing the new test kits and the composite vials for parasites, protozoa, chlamydia, and rickettsia, it has greatly enhanced our abilities to find and treat these issues and some patients have reached a new level of health.

2. We are constantly updating our website which now has back issues of the newsletter too so please check it out now and then (www.michaellebowitzdc.com). We also have our Thorne handout along with info on test kit consultants on a CD-R. Just call if you would like one. And if you still get the newsletter by snail mail please send us your email address so we can switch you over. As an email recipient you occasionally get an update we do not send through the post office as well as occasional specials.

3 Again we also encourage you to send in your own case histories of cases utilizing our protocols.

CASE HISTORY

Sam is a 52 year old minister who despite good regular chiropractic care still has recurrent headaches, sometimes they would fall into the classification of migraines. Other symptoms include fatigue, irritability, occasional loose bowels, and a fullness in his cervical lymph nodes. Our exam found evidence of fungal dysbioisis, sensitivities to nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, tobacco, paprika), dairy, and corn and the need for our cervical lymph drainage technique. Organ screening showed the liver NL in the clear and the adrenal NL on sympathetic stress (red). He also showed positive on mercury, copper, and arsenic.

We desensitized Sam and put him on our “anti-fungal diet” and off the foods that tested positive. We supplemented with SF722, Basic B Complex, Biomins II, and Captomer (all Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966). We also recommended a 10 P.M. bedtime. We re-examined Sam approximately 3 weeks later. He no longer had fatigue (and still does not 6 months later). His bowels were now normal and his disposition had “sweetened” quite a bit (according to his wife who was also treated at the same time for fungal dysbiosis). Sam had one headache during the 3 week time span (he would usually have 3 per week). We keep him on Captomer as well as Basic B and Biomins II. We re-introduced the foods he was formerly sensitive to. Once after a trip he started to get the headaches back daily and we had to retreat the fungal dysbiosis which quickly resolved the problem. Sam’s case is fairly typical and responded well. Of course some cases are more complicated but many do fall into this easy to treat format.
