I hope you all are doing well. My wife Cynthia and son Josiah have taken over Test Kit Consultants from Betty Morton. It now has a new phone number 1-888-323-0625 and a new email aktestkits@aol.com. They anticipate bringing you better service as well as what I consider the best “diagnostic” test kits available to the applied kinesiology practitioner. These kits have revolutionized my practice over the past year- making patient assessment much quicker and more accurate. We initially did blind testing versus the real substances with quite a few of the vials to make sure the vials were testing for what they claimed to be (I was skeptical that they would, but they did) and once they met my quality standards, we decided to promote these and come out with composite vials to speed up assessment. All the kits and their contents are listed on my website www.michaellebowitzdc.com and I am happy to answer any technical questions though all of our testing and treatment procedures are on the video done by Jay Wilson and myself that is described on the last page of this newsletter. One thing I have particularly liked is that the vials are not neutralized by magnets or EMF’s.
NEW PRODUCTS
1. Parasite Kit 2 (AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625). This kit contains 42 parasites not in the original parasite kit along with 2 new composite vials. It is difficult to find actual samples of microbes so at times as they become available we either add to existing test kits or offer a totally new one if there are enough new additions. This new kit does not overlap the other parasite kit. There are 44 vials and among them are various forms of hookworms, tapeworms, roundworms, blood flukes, liver flukes, lung flukes, blastocystis hominis, endomilax, nana, etc. You can order by calling or emailing AK test kits. I anticipate this kit to be very helpful especially with the almost epidemic numbers of people with blastocystis issues.
CASE HISTORIES
1. I practiced in rural West Virginia for seven years in the mid 1980’s and early 1990’s. There are a few patients who still consult with me about various health problems but it is rare that I actually see one of them in person. This past week I had the opportunity to test someone who I introduced to alternative medicine about 15 years ago. When she appeared at the office here I did not recognize her or remember her case as I had only seen her a very few times. She had endometriosis back then with the accompanying symptoms consistent with it and the local MD saw no alternative other than a hysterectomy. She related to me that I had found a fungus and sensitivities to dairy and celery. I had put her on Mycocidin (now called SF722 available from Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966) and some other vitamins by Thorne though she couldn’t recall which ones. We left WV and I never knew what happened. She related that not only did she lose 25# she needed to lose but all her symptoms left and she is still asymptomatic 15 years later (without surgery).
I have had a number of cases over the years diagnosed medically with endometriosis who had similar findings and outcomes. In all of these cases clearing fungal issues seemed to be the major
factor.
2. This case history was submitted by John Rees DC, Berlin, MD “I treated a 45 year old, obese male who had recently lost about 150 pounds but still weighed 300. He was feeling much better than before he lost the weight, but was nagged into coming by his wife, who we had successfully treated for migraines with a combination of chiropractic and the Lebowitz protocol. His only real complaint was that the weight loss which had been primarily achieved with the South Beach Diet, was leveled off and was worried about a cholesterol level of 250 and diabetes that his doctor was wanting to put him on medication for. We successfully treated him for fungal and parasitic dysbiosis and heavy metal toxicity, lead and mercury with the Lebowitz protocol. I then put him on a maintenance program of Al’s Formula, Choleast, Diabenil and P-5-P (all Thorne 1-800-228-1966). He had new blood work done after about 3 months on the program. His blood sugar levels had returned to normal range, although still high normal. His cholesterol total was 120 and the triglyceride splits were dead center. His family doctor who had ordered the blood work could not believe the difference. We still however are struggling with the weight loss as he still would like to lose another 100 pounds.”
We encourage other doctors who used our protocol to submit successful case histories. One of the benefits is it lets other doctors know you are out there and can possibly thus increase patient referrals.
I have noticed that it is fairly common for weight loss to level out and stop. Often in these cases I tend to test which foods strengthen a patient and see if their body prefers a low card diet, or vegetarian or whatever. Of course L-tyrosine or Iodine-Tyrosine supplementation can be critical and if they are very dedicated we may use Mediclear as a replacement for one or two meals daily. Getting a lot of outdoor time is critical for endocrine regulation as is exercise to regulate metabolism.

3. Personal Seminars with Dr. Lebowitz: Dr. Lebowitz teaches seminars to one or two doctors at a time in his home/office in Grand Junction, CO. These classes are tailored to meet your individual needs and can be as basic or advanced as you would like. Treatment for you and/or your family can be included in the teaching.
