Dear Colleagues:

I hope you are well. Those of you who get this by snail mail will be getting it along with the April newsletter. The email people received the April newsletter a month ago. My wife who is in charge of getting the snail mail version out has been out of town 5 of the last 6 weeks and had no time to do the mailing. I apologize for that. If you would like to switch to email just email us your email address.

I have been keeping close tabs on my two new professional baseball player patients- one is in AA and one in AAA. Other than the initial very comprehensive treatments previously mentioned in past newsletters, we are refilling nutrients and having them do an eye muscle co-ordination exercise/treatment I developed. Whenever they appear to be headed for a slump or start striking out more than usual they do the exercise. I hope to see the AAA player a few times throughout the season for more treatments. Our AAA player’s batting average is 51 points above that of last years and his on base percentage is up 66 points. I decided to do the eye muscle exercise treatment (have them do an easier version on themselves that I explained via email) when it seemed like he was losing progress and since then he has been doing exceptionally well, batting over .400.

Our AA player’s batting average is up 30 points and his on base percentage is up 54 points. He is known for his speed but last year only stole 17 bases and was caught stealing 4 times. This year so far in 1/5th the games he has stolen 11 bases and hasn’t been caught stealing at all. What is interesting is on our exam he had extreme weakness of his right quadriceps muscle. I attribute some of his improvement to the work we did on it which should have increased his speed.

This kind of work is fun but there are things that are of course more important. The case history that follows is one of those.

CASE HISTORY

1 Eileen is a 3 year old girl. On October 1st during a fever, she developed seizures and suffered from “a few a seizures a day” for the days following. A pediatric neurologist put her on Kepra which was successful in getting rid of them. She stayed seizure free until mid January when she had the flu with 104 degree fever. Despite still being on the Kepra she started having about 10 seizures a day which have since grown to “one every few minutes”, over the past 3 months. She continued on the Kepra and they added Trileptal, prescribed by a top pediatric neurologist in Denver. The diagnosis he gave was left subependymal heterotopia which is supposedly medication resistant (you wonder why then they added new meds). The next step was possibly frontal lobe resection, which the parents were not anxious to try. I did our whole exam and the only finding I had was a weakening on the mercury vial. Eileen had no obvious mercury exposure but we did have the same finding of weakening on the mercury vial (AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625) on her grandmother (who lives 1000 miles away) when we examined her a year ago. I have had cases in the past where mercury had caused seizures so I knew it was a possibility. I put her on 50 mg. of Captomer daily (a half a cap by Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966). It is now 2 weeks later and except for 3 or 4 mild arm twitches a day Eileen is virtually seizure free at this point. While she used to fall down about 25-30 times a day, it has only happened twice in the past 10 days and none in the past week. Her parents and I are very pleased to put it mildly. It is probable that without our findings Eileen was faced with a lifetime of medications and possibly no alleviation in her seizures. She also might have faced brain surgery. This is the kind of case that makes it all worth it. The parents did take her off the Trileptal as they were not happy with its side effect of drowsiness. Next week they return to the neurologist in Denver. It will be interesting to see what he says.

Testimonial from professional baseball player

The TheraSupreme (1-800-922-1744) is an amazing product. I take it every morning and sometimes twice a day, depending on if there are people around me getting sick. Every previous spring training in Arizona I had gotten sick, however this year when I felt a little weak or the beginning of feeling sick I upped the amount of Thera I was taking and almost instantly felt better. Everyone in the locker room around me came down with something except me!!! I also have given Thera to a few of my teammates and coaches and they loved it. One coach in particular was struggling with the flu and I recommended he try the Thera and within 2 days he felt 100%better. It is a great product and I don't want to go back to life without it.

Thanks Doc
