New Products
1) Lebowitz Protocol Kit (1-808-321-0826) - After much negotiation I have been able to have our test kit vial producer agree to make a test kit that is composed of the same vials I use to do my screening on a patient. This kit has the 20 microbial composite vials (including virus 3), the food toxin kit, my 10 most positive showing foods outside of the food toxins, the new lipid kit (10 vials), coagulation kit (8 vials), 9 different chemical composites (pesticides 1-3, industrial and environmental, mixed dental, etc.), 10 most common metals, biofilm, mixed mycotoxins, 3 estrogens, progesterone, testosterone, histamine, cck. 2) Chemical Composite Partial Kit- this has the 9 chemical composite vials from the Lebowitz protocol Kit: Pesticides 1-3, Industrial and Environmental 1 and 3, Mixed Personal care, Mixed Dental, Mixed Food Additives, Mixed Chemical and Inhalants. Dear Dr. Lebowitz,
I had been treating a young girl for quite a while with up and down success. Mainly, chronic dysbiosis causing many allergic related symptoms. Every spring her allergies caused her problems and this spring was no exception. She usually tests for parasites, gluten, wheat, food additives and bacteria. She improves, gets better and falls back again. Of course being young she does not fully follow my directions.
However, this spring her allergies were severe causing her to visit the Era a couple of times for nighttime asthma. Her current symptoms, included asthma at nighttime needing an inhaler, severe scalp itching, chronic rash on face and both upper and lower extremities. The rash was relieved by hot showers (she would get up in the middle of night to shower seeking relief). In addition, fatigue, sleeping a lot, increased appetite, headache, ligament laxity, runny nose, and itchy eyes.
I felt she was reacting to something in her environment and decided to get some lab work done. I chose an ELISA LRA that is specific for a delayed lymphocyte Immune response (IgG, IgM, IgA) I figured an IgE generated by RAST would be useless since she would have some idea of what was causing her symptoms. The ELISA picks up sensitivity regardless of current exposure or ingestion. In other words if she reacted to it in past it will come up.
Her test results based on 144 common foods, 24 molds, chemicals, and additives in meds.

Guaifenesin (mucinex) Mother gave her Benadryl and her inhaler prior to sleep so no asthma would occur, following (this) she had her worst night of asthma/rash.
After investigating the above findings some did correlate with her environment, for example Mucor mold is common in house dust, barnyards, barns and dung. She has a barn, horse and goats.
Having found the reactants I decided to experiment a bit. Lucky for me an AK colleague of yours is nearby and allowed me to sift through his vials. I located all the above vials except for Mucinex. I wanted to know first if the test vials would test at all. An even more exciting question, would the same vials test and concur with serum lymphocyte reactants?? (of course the gold standard of medicine is SERUM) I am very happy to report they did. Every vial without exception, tested! I could not believe it, so I did it twice. Truly amazing! I tested the mother too; she only tested for one vial, Carbon Tetrachloride which makes me believe they are both currently exposed. This is a great validation of your work! Moreover, it adds great confidence and assurance of findings. Furthermore, it is a great benefit to our patient health and pocketbook. I hope you find this as exciting as I did!

Hi Dr. Lebowitz,
Beverly Meyer here in San Antonio. We have met at several of your seminars...
This concerns my outdoor cat Mischa, a 10 yr. old tabby with no history of health problems whatsoever. Minimal vaccines, etc. Happy, strong, playful, etc.
Last fall, after having some apparent furball issues during the summer, she continued to have a furball type of hacking, non-productive cough. It was loud, sounding like Whooping Cough, but she had no fever and showed no sign of illness. This continued all winter, when she was not shedding at all.
I took her to 2 vets who called it constipation and furballs and gave laxatives and/or antibiotics "just in case".
Finally, I took a fur and saliva sample and muscle-tested. It came up Klebsiella Pneumoniae (vials from AK Test Kits), spleen, and cystic process.
I took her to the big Veterinary Hospital. The vet told me within 3 minutes that "this cat has asthma and will be on steroids the rest of her life". I responded, "Well, that's not going to happen! I think she has had pneumonia and has encysted it, as a healthy creature would do, and is trying to now cough it out".
She took her to run X-rays, blood work, a bronchial lavage and to culture any findings in the bronchi. The results showed a form of Pneumonia called Pasteurella, and the conclusion was to give antibiotics and steroids for inflammatory eosinophils. I did treat with the antibiotics but the cough returned 4 days after the antibiotics. I repeated the antibiotics when repeat x-rays still showed an encysted mucous plug.
When the cough returned again, I started Morinda, 1/2 capsule twice daily with food. The cough stopped immediately and has not returned. The vet still wishes her to be on steroids for a few months, but this cat tests clean to me!
She is on a maintenance dose now of 1/2 cap once daily, heading to 1/3 cap once daily.
She has no problem with the taste as I mix it in her wet food.
