Here in Hawaii GMO's are a big issue as many papayas are GMO, plus they grow a lot of GMO seed (corn, etc) on Molokai, Maui, Kauai etc. One of the problems besides the crop itself, is it is bred to make the crop Round Up resistant. Round Up is an herbicide that they can use in much higher quantities on GMO fields to control weeds since the food crop is resistant to it. This can mean more Round Up exposure if you live nearby or potentially if you eat the food. Glyphos in Round Up (found in the pesticide 2 kit AK test Kits -1-808-321-0826) can inhibit cytochrome P450 enzymes and especially effects people with snps (genetic abnormalities of the CYP enzymes which is a fairly common occurrence- and the glyphos may cause these genes to express). These genes and cytochrome P450 help break down caffeine, hormones, etc. When the breakdown of caffeine, estrogen, testosterone, etc. is impaired you can imagine the other health repercussions (perhaps liver damage, certain types of cancer, insomnia, palpitations, etc.).
We have on occasion been running 23 and me genetic tests on patients to check methylation and detoxification pathways. We send the results to 5MTHHR support for further readouts. This site is run by Sterling Hill who researches the effects of genetic snps and health issues.
Besides testing Glyphos we recommend doing the fat rub test (in our 2013 DVD). Basically, deeply massage the belly fat for 10-15 seconds before testing as this helps liberate hormones and chemicals from storage. Then test glyphos, estradiol, estriol, estrone, testosterone, etc. If they weaken see if Takesumi, Schisandra, or Body Guard Supreme (Supreme Nutrition 1-800-922-1744) negate the positive tests and supplement as indicated. I would definitely recommend these patients (and everyone else) avoid GMO's until the time when some unbiased science comes out proving they are safe.
Interesting Phone Consult
I recently did a phone consult with Dr Scobie Branson in TN.
Dr Branson had his left kidney removed in 1998 due to malignancy, a retroperitoneal liposarcoma. He called because recently he had elevated BUN and creatinine levels (see below) and was concerned about his remaining kidney as the labs are indicative of kidney disease. I had him run my protocol and also test ammonia over the kidney. As for the lab work, the first labs were taken on 9/12/2013 and are as follows:
BUN: 32 ( normal 7-25)
Creatinine: 1.85 (normal 0.7-1.5)
eGFR: 44 (normal >59)
Blood pressure 158/109
He tested to need Illicium and Manjistha Supreme (Supreme Nutrition 1-800-922-1744). We also had him decrease his protein intake (due to the ammonia weakening over the kidney) and increase his water intake.
He redid his labs on 10/31 and these are the results
BUN: 16 (normal 7-25)
Creatinine: 1.31 (normal .7-1.5)
eGFR: 66 (normal >59)
Blood pressure 117/68.
In his last email he stated "Thank you very much for all of your help and information! I look forward to continuing to use and prescribe Supreme Nutrition products and continuing to learn more and more about your AK techniques!"
Needless to say I was very pleased with the outcome

Every person I have ever treated with asthma, now or in the past has had a Gluten or Dairy problem, or both among their findings. Dr L’s comment- “I almost always find a fungal component also.”
Goldenthread Supreme and Melia Supreme (Supreme Nutrition) are very good for EBV. I have had over 30 people in the last 4-5 months with EBV. Cytomegalavirus goes hand in hand in many instances with EBV.
Childhood ear infections and tonsillitis will in many, if not all instances have a dairy component to them.
For really tough infections I have them swab multiple body fluids and put them in
baggies with sugar water and let them culture for a few days. I then test them using the sample and have uncovered hidden fungal infections and other issues.

This is pretty cool so I want to share it. I have a friend who is an alcoholic and heavy pot smoker so his biochemistry takes a lot of abuse. Because of this I think he's really susceptible to Lyme infection. On a few occasions he's begun to feel flu-like symptoms before even finding the tick and always goes to the MD for megadoses of doxicycline. Anyways, he began feeling symptomatic last week and sure enough found the tick partially embedded in his calf. He took the antibiotics and was feeling good (albeit hungover) but asked if I’d test him anyway. He didn't test on the mixed borrelia vial (AK Test Kits) in the clear, but did with TL to the tick bite. BFB-2 (Supreme Nutrition) negated it.
I received a call a few days later and he told me that he was in Mexico 6 years ago and came down with a nasty prostate infection that has never fully gone away. Within 6 hours of using the oil he began to urinate easier and without pain. Then last night I got a call that he had a severe ear infection 16 years ago which left his inner ear scarred and partially blocked. Within a few days of oil use his ear began to clear.
