Dear Colleagues

I hope you are well. Things do not always go according to plan. It is April 9th as I write this. I should have been in AZ house hunting and working. On March 23rd on the way to the gym I tripped and landed solely on my left patella shattering it into at least 6 pieces and underwent surgery on March 26th. I am spending most of my time in bed or on the couch in our condo in Honolulu. Healing and rehab is supposed to take many months. I have learned a lot about intense pain (first time in my 63 years on prescription pain killers). We still plan on flying to AZ now on April 16th and I will be teaching one on one classes to doctors through at least mid June if anyone is interested (call me at 970-623-9565). Except for already scheduled patients I will wait till at least early May to schedule patients but classes are OK. I’d like to thank all of you who knew and either prayed or called or wrote with great advice. I have been utilizing a lot of it.

ICAK

As most of you know the ICAK is having its 50th anniversary meeting in Washington DC June 19-22. It looks like it will be a great meeting with presentations from Scott Walker, Wally Schmitt, John Diamond, Sheldon Deal, Chris Astill-Smith, Steve Gangemi, John Brimhall, Richard Belli, David Leaf, Phil Maffetone, John Bandy, Kerry McCord, Kurt Vreeland, myself, etc., etc. I apologize for those I left off but it will have the best line up of AK docs together at one meeting that there has been in a long time.

I will be presenting a class on Lyme Disease utilizing an AK approach. I would like 2 volunteers who are attending the meeting as test subjects. They need to be people who suspect they might have some lyme issues or have already been diagnosed. Also they should not have been treated by me or someone using my protocols for the past 3 years. If you qualify, are attending the meeting, and don’t mind being treated in front of 100+ docs email me at noach2343@aol.com so I can tell you what to bring etc.

Interesting article on microbe and MS like symptoms http://www.bbc.com/news/health-25925658

From Mike Andreano DC

Hi Dr. Lebowitz. Just wanted to let you know how useful my new test kit and your techniques have been. It has brought my ability to a new level. Even better, I am helping people to regain their health in ways I was not previously able to do.

Couple interesting findings:

I use Dr. Schmitt's QA protocol and go through your whole protocol on QA step number 4 but have recently found that if I test Ammonia over the kidneys and then make the appropriate correction, pathogen vials will show up that did not before the correction. I find the same thing with histimine, steroid hormones, aldehydes, cortisol, mycotoxins, etc.

So now, If things do not seem to be showing up, I cycle through all the pathogens, and then again with all the vials you recommend as stressors (biofilms, clotting factors, etc) check for ammonia, histamine, steroid hormones) and then run through all the pathogens again and make the corrections. And continue to do this until I do not find anything else to work with. Pretty neat results so far.

I had a long term patient with RA who does very well with symptoms come in today. When she first came in to the office a few years back I treated her for various infections which eliminated almost all her symptoms. Last month I tested her and went through all the new procedures including bio-films and nothing showed up. I did find a need for some NAC. Last week she called me up and told me that her hands were starting to bother her after she started the NAC. I remembered what you said about NAC having some biofilm busting properties and thought maybe that was the problem and microbes were being released. I tested her today and she did test for biofilms, mixed virus 2 and candida. I think that it was interesting that the biofilm or microbe vials did not show up until she started the NAC.

I am anxious to see how she does with the BFB-2 and Morinda and Camu protocol (Supreme Nutrition Products 1-800-922-1744).

Thank you for your work.

Next month I hope to have a full length newsletter.

5. Body Restoration An Owners Manual - An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health. The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to recommend to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. It is available on kindle at http://www.amazon.com/Body-Restoration-Owners-Manual-ebook/dp/B0050653C4/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1353354004&sr=1-1 If you don’t have a kindle http://bodyrestorationanownersmanual.com/html/Order.html and we will send you a PDF form.

6. Body Restoration Cookbook - This companion volume to the above book was written by Cynthia Lebowitz and is now available free online (donations accepted). A wonderful tool for your patients as it contains almost 100 recipes- most without gluten, dairy, nightshades, etc. http://www.bodyrestorationanownersmanual.com/html/Cookbook.html
