CASE HISTORIES
1. Presented by Noah Lebowitz DC Scottsdale AZ
I had a 32 year old male come in with fatigue, depression, and body aches. He had previously seen an ND and had his thyroid tested. His TSH was 6.145 (normal 0.35-5.5) and his free T4 was 0.86 (normal 0.89-1.76). His Free T3 was normal at 2.8 (2.3-4.2).
On the first visit we found H. Pylori, Bartonella, Bacteria 1, Bacteria 2, Virus, Borrelia, Bacteria 2, Mycoplasma, and Fungus 1 (vials by AK Test Kits 970-201-7406). We found sensitivities to Caffeine, Theophylline, Lactose, and Chicken.
I put him on Camu Supreme, Dan Shen Supreme, Golden Thread Supreme, Vital Guard Supreme (all by Supreme Nutrition 800-922-1744), and Tyrosine (Pure Encapsulations).
Two weeks later his mood was better as well as his energy. He tested positive for the liver reflex as well as Virus 3, Mycotoxins, and Fungus 3. He also showed on Theobromine, Pesticide 2, Industrial, and Environmental Chemicals 3. He tested for Dan Shen Supreme, Golden Thread Supreme, Takesumi Supreme, Smilax Supreme, Lecithin Granules, and Tyrosine.
His next visit his energy and mood had improved even more and we added methylcobalamin. We then re-checked his lab values and his TSH had gone down to 2.253, his Free T4 had gone up to 1.05, and his Free T3 went up to 3.3.
He is very happy and continuing to improve his health with care.
2. Presented by Michael Lebowitz DC
Laura is a 51 year old woman. She first came in July 2015. She had been medically diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia, degenerative discs in her lumbar and cervical spine, and a positive RH factor. In 2010 she had breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy. Other symptoms included brain fog, exhaustion, intestinal bloating, eczema, and depression. She was on 11 prescription meds and about to apply for disability.
Findings: positive vials from Protocol Kit (AK Test Kits 970-201-7406) Fungus 1, Virus 1 and 3, Mycoplasma, Borrelia, Casein, Albumin, Gliadin, Caffeine, Solanine, Peanut, Onion, Soy, Plasmin, Pesticides 1, Industrial and Environmental 1, Personal Care, Biofilms (AK Test Kits).
Treatment: no time for structural work other than a desensitization procedure. I prescribed from Supreme Nutrition (800-922-1744) BFB-2, Melia Supreme, Golden Thread Supreme, Tulsi Supreme, Schisandra. Patient was to eliminate positive testing foods plus remove all refined sweeteners, dried fruit, juice, vinegar, fermented soy, yeast
We had a follow up 2 weeks later. She had lost 5# and had substantially less bloating. All her symptoms had reduced somewhat
None of the previous findings were positive except Plasmin. She was dietarily compliant so the foods not showing could have been false negatives. We did find Albumin and Mercury tested positive.
We gave her from Supreme Nutrition: Tulsi Supreme, Takesumi Supreme, Camu Supreme (her body was starting to detox nicely), Others: L-Tyrosine, Magnesium Citrate, Lecithin. Her diet was to be continued. We often find lecithin in chronic folks. We test it in the granular form both soy derived and sunflower derived and they often need it for a few months.
Our 3rd visit was 3 months later due to my travel schedule. In the meantime she stayed on the diet. Her symptoms including disabling pain were 70% decreased and she no longer felt she needed to apply for disability.
Findings: positive vials from Protocol kit: Protozoa, Bartonella, Casein, Soy, Caffeine, Olive oil (food kit A), Plasminogen, Plasmin, Antithrombin III, Industrial and Environmental Chemicals 1.
Instructions: Take Tulsi Supreme, and Melia Supreme. Remain off caffeine, casein and soy for fairly long term, off olive oil. Reintroduce previously positive foods that now test negative one at a time and look for symptoms (we will recheck them next visit). The coagulation issue having returned seems significant but she didn't test for any anti-coag supplements so we upped her water, added pineapple and papaya (raw) in between meals and freshly grated ginger and turmeric with meals (tests much better than in supplement form).
Laura is thrilled with how things are going. I am sure if we had the opportunity to treat her more frequently the progress would be greater still. It is not unusual to pick up a few new microbes on return visits. This third visit was the first time we tested Food Kit A on Laura) so the olive oil may have been there all along. I am very encouraged she remained fungus free in this potentially moldy Hawaiian environment.
