Dear Colleagues;

I hope you all are well. We will be heading back to Arizona the middle of February if anyone wants to see me there for treatment or a class.

Hope to see some of you at our Dallas TX April 3 conference. We will be teaching our whole protocol with some new info on SIBO, a new desensitization technique, etc. It will be suited to both the advanced practitioner as well as people who have never taken our work, and everyone in between. We will cover our work on dysbiosis, foods, metals, chemicals, organs, etc. in its newest form. Please sign up early as we cap the classes when we reach a certain number as it is important for us to be able to personally help in the workshops etc. To sign up click on http://michaellebowitzdc.com/html/Dallas2016/index.html. The class is presently about 75% full and we expect it to totally fill up. We have no plans to tape this class at this time and we are not planning another spring class.

I will also be speaking at the Navigating Chronic Complex Illness conference in early March in San Diego as well as giving a 2.5 hour workshop that will be suited for beginners in muscle testing. You can see info at ttps://forumforintegrativemedicine.org/

Hoping next month to bring news of a new product I have been working on for quite some time. We are gathering pre and post labs to make sure it does what we think it will before finalizing it.

Thoughts on provocative testing

As many of you know and as we have taught in our seminars for a number of years, AK is very prone to false negative test results- whether it is due to a hypertonic reaction we mistook for a normal facilitated muscle or if we didn’t provoke the reaction with the right stressor. Those of you that took our 2014 class or DVD (still available) know we use coagulation vials, various hormones, left brain stress, as well as unlayering techniques to greatly minimize false negatives. The number of provocative tests that can be developed are almost unlimited so you want to utilize the ones that have the highest change of uncovering new findings. My friend and colleague Luke Pietrantone was sharing with me that if he tests microbes (AK Test kit composite or single vials 970-201-7406) at the same time he tests a strong EMF source like a cell phone (assuming each of these 2 were negative by themselves) it will often bring up new findings that when treated with the right antimicrobials will help patients even more. We have been doing this (after Luke shared it) and agree wholeheartedly that we find more microbes as well as foods and metals when we add this step to the rest of our methods and I want to thank Luke for bringing this to our attention.

Over 20 years ago we had a physician patient who had a fungal problem that we were having a hard time resolving. His office was on the second floor and he stood directly over a bank of fluorescent lights all day long as he worked on patients. He measured with an EMF meter and found he was standing in a high EMF field. He then took two samples of the same fungus and put them in 2 identical Petri dishes one he placed where he stood and one in a place that had a much lower reading. The fungus in the Petri dish over the high EMF area grew at a much faster rate. When the doc moved his table to a low EMF area it became much easier to clear his fungal issue.

CASE HISTORY- Sun Mok Kim DC- Grand Junction, CO

Three weeks ago, I saw Lyle for the first time. He is an 11year old boy who was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes 13 months ago. His mother said his blood sugar levels fluctuated significantly every day, even though he is taking high dosages of insulin. They wanted to find a more natural way to control his blood sugar level. I couldn't find any micro-organism in my tests but I found some metal issues (iron, titanium, gold, lead vials were positive) and gliadin. Even though microbe vials were negative, some antimicrobial supplements were positive. Morinda Supreme, Golden Thread Supreme, Takesumi Supreme, Lurong Supreme (Supreme Nutrition 800-922-1744), and Ultrachrome (Thorne) were prescribed.

A week ago I saw the boy's parents and the mother said he is doing very well. She said they saw the boy's MD recently and he did an insulin resistant test. With the results, the Dr. cut Lyle’s insulin dosage down significantly. She said she showed the supplements that I prescribed to the Dr. but he just laughed and ignored them. His mother said his blood sugar test are now very stable with no abnormal fluctuations. They are really happy his progress.

Ticks/Lyme

I know Lyme is also spread by mosquitos, between sexual partners and possibly infected meats but this was interesting

4. Body Restoration An Owners Manual - An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health. The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to recommend to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. It is available for $1.99 on kindle at http://www.amazon.com/Body-Restoration-Owners-Manual-ebook/dp/B0050653C4/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1353354004&sr=1-1 or in paperback http://www.amazon.com/body-restoration-Dr-Michael-Lebowitz/dp/146100294X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1432251114&sr=8-2&keywords=michael+lebowitz+kapadia

5. Body Restoration Cookbook - This companion volume to the above book was written by Cynthia Lebowitz and is now available free online (donations accepted). A wonderful tool for your patients as it contains almost 100 recipes- most without gluten, dairy, nightshades, etc. http://www.bodyrestorationanownersmanual.com/html/Cookbook.html

6. God’s Preventative Medicine- my latest book is now available in paperback. It explains how the Levitical Priests dealt with fungal dysbiosis both preventatively and treatment wise as well as the reasons behind some of the other health laws of the Torah. It is a short easy to understand book and fascinating for the student of health and the Bible http://www.amazon.com/Gods-Preventative-Medicine-Discoveries-Instructions/dp/150892824X/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1432251151&sr=1-2

7. Phone consultations - Dr. Lebowitz is happy to consult with you about protocol questions or difficult patients. Please take into account that we are on Hawaiian (or Arizonan) time and only call between 7AM-5PM M-F 970-623-9565. There is no charge for short consults if you are a fellow physician.
