Sorry the newsletter is late this month but March was one month that tested me to the limits. It started with an audit where they mistakenly claimed I owed $70,000 and being my own bookkeeper and tax guy (foolishly?), I handled it all myself. After that, I gave a 2 ½ hour workshop to a group of 140 MD’s and ND’s on the potential of using applied kinesiology in their practice. There was a lot of enthusiasm and during the conference, myself, Noah and my friend Ami Kapadia MD probably worked on 50 of the MD’s.
The next thing on the schedule was my son Josiah’s wedding in Scottsdale. Before that, two things happened. One was I was bitten above my ankle by an unidentified insect (probably either a black widow or bark scorpion) which swelled to the point of not really being able to walk for a week and being pretty disabled for 2 weeks and even today almost a month later it is still swollen and sore. Also, my 96 year old mom’s health which was excellent until then took a major dive. After a wonderful wedding, Cynthia and I flew to Boston (they had to wheel me through the airport due to the bite), where we spent the last six days of my mother’s life at her side. I flew straight from Boston to Dallas where Noah and I taught a seminar to 60+ docs on the latest version of my protocol with quite a bit of new and revised material. At the last minute we did decide to tape it and we hope to have a DVD available in the next few months.
New Product
Provocation vial- (AK test Kits 970-201-7406)- For those of you familiar with my protocol and know how we use provocation to find many “hidden” microbes, metals etc- we decided for convenience sake to combine the thrombin, prothrombin, fibrin, fibrinogen, and estrone vial into one vial. It is simpler and much easier to hold than all the others at once. You can’t use it for screening for hypercoagulation but it helps to find hidden microbes, metals, chemicals, etc. Cost I believe is under $10.

Case Histories
From Houston Anderson DC in Mesa AZ:
I had a 65 y.o. female come in for maintenance care without any significant pain or concerns. She had a history of seeing AK docs for over 30 years and had immediate family members that were AK practitioners.
She had severe hyperhydrosis with literally dripping palms AND feet. In 30 years nobody had been able to find a solution. She was not interested in looking for a solution anymore.
She had her gallbladder removed 6 weeks earlier so going through some gallbladder nutrition I found that Schisandra Supreme (Supreme Nutrition 800-922-1744) tested positive. She took it home and came back a few weeks later and her hyperhydrosis had dried up. She thought the gallbladder removal had fixed it. When she ran out of Schisandra the hyperhydrosis returned. She thought maybe it was a temporary thing that it had resolved. So I tested Schisandra at a 3 month follow up and gave it to her again. Once again the hyperhydrosis cleared up. She has had dry hands for the first time she can remember now for over 6 weeks.

I had a 49 year old female patient come in this past January for the first time. She complained about headaches and having had constipation her whole life. She'd seen a DC for years with no headache relief. Her main complaint though was anxiety and depression occurring every day since her husband passed away 12 years ago. She had been taking 12 supplements from a naturopath she had previously seen (non-AK).
I took her off all her previous supplements (they all weakened her). She tested positive for Babesia, Borrelia, Fungus 1, and H. Pylori (AK Test Kits 970-201-7406). She also showed sensitivities to Albumin, Casein, Lactose, Zein, and Soy. Personal care products and arsenic also showed up.
I put her on Illicium Supreme, Morinda Supreme, LuRong Supreme, Takesumi Supreme (all Supreme Nutrition), Tyrosine (Pure Encapsulations), and 5-Hydroxytryptophan (Thorne).
I also tested muscles in her cervical spine area doing a lot of muscle work in addition to a couple adjustments.
She came back 2 weeks later and said her bowel movements were "normal" now, for the first time ever. She had lost 8 pounds in the 2 weeks, and her neck adjustment held longer than it ever had before. She said she was also sleeping calmer with the least anxiety she's ever had since her husband passed away. No vials showed positive on her. We increased her Tyrosine from 1 to 2 per day, and increased her 5-HTP from 1 to 2 per day.
2 weeks later she came back and was continuing to do better. Over the past 2 weeks she'd only had 1 feeling of anxiety at night (vs. previously occurring every night). She lost 4 more pounds (12 total), and reported no feelings of depression! She was ecstatic.
She also reported that she was sleeping much better now that she was taking the 5-HTP.
She has been continuing to improve and become more active and social, after having no desire to the past 12 years.
