Upcoming Lebowitz seminars
I won’t be teaching any one on one seminars for at least a few months. I am though teaching 2 upcoming seminars
Treating the complex patient
Dr Michael Lebowitz & Dr Noah Lebowitz
SEATTLE, WA August 14th ATLANTA, GA August 28th 2016
We are happy to announce two seminars taught by Drs. Michael and Noah Lebowitz DC this summer. The Seminars will be held in Seattle, WA and Atlanta, GA.
In this seminar new material 1st introduced at the Dallas TX seminar April 2016 will be presented.
You will learn quick and easy ways to test for and treat:
· dysbiosis (fungal, parasitic, bacterial, viral, Lyme)
· food sensitivities/toxicities
· metal toxicity
· chemical intolerance
· blood coagulation problems
· mycotoxins
· biofilms
· SIBO
· nutritional deficiencies and reactions etc.
You will find using these protocols will help many chronic conditions in patients including but not limited to fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, most gastro-intestinal issues, dermatological conditions, asthma, headaches of all types, autoimmune issues, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, etc. We will also be teaching new provocation techniques which greatly help minimize false negatives and find hidden issues we often miss with applied kinesiology and other muscle testing techniques, while also speeding up the testing process. The class is suited for both the beginning and advanced practitioner.
These techniques have been successful at increasing doctor’s referrals as well give the physician a broader understanding of chronic health issues.
Dr. Michael Lebowitz has been teaching advanced AK seminars since 1987, has written 4 books, over 60 research papers and has won 4 awards from the International College of Applied Kinesiology for his papers and work. He has a research practice that attracts patients from around the world treating chronically ill patients, professional athletes, and everyone in between. He is also secretary of the International College of Applied Kinesiology as well the program chair for the annual meeting. The last 3 seminars have sold out early as we limit attendance to make sure the workshops gets all the needed individual attention the practitioners need.
Skills in basic muscle testing (how to discern a strong muscle from a weak one) are the only prerequisites. This class will count towards ICAK diplomate hours.
We encourage early sign ups as our last 3 seminars sold out. To register click on http://michaellebowitzdc.com/html/August2016/index.html and then click paypal links at the bottom.
SUPREME NUTRITION
For supreme customers- they have been out of stock on Reishi for a while. This was due to a long wait (for no apparent reason) at customs. It has now passed customs but to encapsulate and do all the approved labs on it, could take about another month. If you have it on backorder they will ship as soon as they get it. Otherwise check back with them in early July.

REFLECTIONS
I have noticed over the past few years that it seems that more and more people are coming down with challenging chronic conditions- many being either disabling or even life threatening. The amount of microbes and toxins I find on the average patient has increased. Some of the increase is due to better testing methods but some is just more people are being effected. I think there are a number of reasons.
1. We are more globally exposed. We travel more and many people from more exotic locations are now living in the US and we have direct or indirect contact with them (for instance they may prepare our food in restaurants is just one of hundreds of examples). As a result the microbial exposure we come in contact with is more diverse.
2. I believe in the past if we were exposed to many microbes our bodies were easily able to hold them in check and keep them dormant. Now our total load due to EMF exposure (which seems to be continually increasing), chemicals in our environment keep increasing as do toxic metals, etc. lowering our resistance.
3. I believe our overall stress levels are higher. With computers, cell phones etc. - our minds do not get a break and most of us are on the edge of sympathetic overload thus lowering our immune response.
4. Our food supply is more compromised nutritionally for many reasons that most of you are aware of.
5. More and more of our supplementation is manufactured (the raw vitamins, minerals, amino acids) in countries that do not have optimum quality control and then shipped here to be encapsulated.
6. It is harder to get herbs that haven’t been standardized- often using solvents, etc. and upsetting the natural balance of constituents in them.
7. I have been finding the type of work we do coming in demand more and more and there are so few practitioners- so people come from long distances. It would nice if there were more practitioners as the far away patients are much more difficult to manage if you do not have someone nearby who can check them more frequently. Many of these folks need ongoing maintenance work to stay well.
MATERIALS AVAILABLE FROM DR. MICHAEL LEBOWITZ
1. DVD: Treating the Complex Patient 2014: This seminar, approximately 4 1/2 hours long will teach the physician a simple to apply, effective protocol to treat patients with chronic fatigue, allergies, chemical sensitivities, intestinal dysbiosis, (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, spirochete, and viral infections), food sensitivities, food toxin intolerance, hypercoagulation problems, toxic metal issues, endocrine dysfunction, nutritional imbalances, chronic pain and subluxations, fibromyalgia, etc. The seminar is suited for both the novice and the advanced practitioners in our work and is much updated from our last one. A complete set of advanced notes accompanies the DVD. To order go to www.michaellebowitzdc.com
2. Personal Seminars with Dr. Lebowitz: Dr. Lebowitz teaches seminars to one or two doctors at a time at his offices in Honolulu, HI and Scottsdale, AZ. This is probably the best way to learn our protocols with a personalized, hands on experience. Cost is $400 per physician. For more info or to schedule call us at 970-623-9565. Presently in HI till early March.
3. Test Kits for Dr. Lebowitz protocol - Call Cynthia at AK Test Kits 970 201-7406 or see our website http://www.michaellebowitzdc.com for more details. These kits will greatly simplify and speed up your testing making you more efficient and accurate in patient assessment. These are “diagnostic kits”. Supplement kits are ordered directly from Supreme Nutrition 1-800-922-1744.
4. Body Restoration An Owners Manual - An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health. The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to recommend to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. It is available for $1.99 on kindle at http://www.amazon.com/Body-Restoration-Owners-Manual-ebook/dp/B0050653C4/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1353354004&sr=1-1 or in paperback http://www.amazon.com/body-restoration-Dr-Michael-Lebowitz/dp/146100294X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1432251114&sr=8-2&keywords=michael+lebowitz+kapadia
5. Body Restoration Cookbook - This companion volume to the above book was written by Cynthia Lebowitz and is now available free online (donations accepted). A wonderful tool for your patients as it contains almost 100 recipes- most without gluten, dairy, nightshades, etc. http://www.bodyrestorationanownersmanual.com/html/Cookbook.html
6. God’s Preventative Medicine- my latest book is now available in paperback. It explains how the Levitical Priests dealt with fungal dysbiosis both preventatively and treatment wise as well as the reasons behind some of the other health laws of the Torah. It is a short easy to understand book and fascinating for the student of health and the Bible http://www.amazon.com/Gods-Preventative-Medicine-Discoveries-Instructions/dp/150892824X/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1432251151&sr=1-2
