Dear Colleagues;
I trust you are well. We hope to see many of you this year either at our Denver seminar (see further down in this newsletter) or the ICAK meeting in Chicago in August. Noah and I are also teaching one on one seminars at our Tacoma office. The dates are flexible to meet your schedule. We also will be presenting at the international ICAK meeting in Edinburgh and teaching our protocol in London in June.
Supreme Nutrition- New Product- Houttuynia Supreme (1-800-922-1744)
We have been wanting to come out with the herb Houttuynia for a number of years due to its effectiveness in Lyme related illness (especially Bartonella). Since this plant likes to absorb toxins it was hard to find a non-contaminated source. We also have a commitment never to use fillers, binders, flow agents, etc. in our encapsulation process. This is rare as most companies use at least one of them even if it is a “natural” substance like leucine, ascorbyl palmitate (which may have corn and palm oil as raw materials), stearates, etc., as these can still interfere with effectiveness and absorption at times. We had planned to offer Houttuynia as a capsule but due to its consistency etc. we found it impossible to encapsulate without a filler. As a result we are offering it in powdered form (it doesn’t taste bad).
Houttuynia Supreme™ Key Indications: antimicrobial (especially against Bartonella), anti-inflammatory and inhibits histamine release in allergies. Houttuynia cordata is a flowering plant native to Asia, known as dokudami in Japan, which literally translates as poison blocking plant (the Chinese yúxīng cao; literally means “fishy-smell herb”). It is used as an edible garnish or salad green in parts of Asia and has been used medicinally for many centuries. As with most herbs it has many diverse uses and applications. Houttuynia has at least 3 major anti-viral components: methyl n-nonyl ketone, lauryl aldehyde, and capryl aldehyde that have shown activity against herpes simplex type 1, influenza virus and HIV type1, along with most envelope virus in general (1,2). Houttuynia shows strong anti-inflammatory properties (3) and is antioxidative, and anti-mutagenic (4). It helps with allergies by inhibiting histamine release and mast cell activation (5,6). It has been successfully used to down-regulate the production of Th2 cytokines (7) Houttuynia has been shown to have inhibitory effects against cholinergic antagonists and should be considered in cases of cognitive impairment (8) It has antibacterial properties including Salmonella (9), and is anti-parasitic (11). The lyme community for many years has used Houttuynia to treat bartonella species (also often contracted from and by cats). It also has anti-fungal effects, including inhibiting candida albicans biofilms (10). As with Morinda, Melia, Golden Thread, etc., etc, Houttuynia is a superb broad spectrum anti-microbial with many other therapeutic effects and should be considered with appropriate patients. Dosage One to two scoops 3x/day or as directed by your physician Contraindications. Do not take if pregnant or breast feeding

Comment on Supreme Nutrition’s Oral Supreme (Formerly called Oral Defense), BFB 1 and 2
The products you have, BFB-1, BFB-2 and the Oral Supreme are just superior products. I cannot tell you how many folks have saved a tooth from using these products.
I use a special muscle testing method to determine specific underlying causes for issues and reason for the imbalance. I have found that many dental problems are related to either pathogens, toxins or both.
When these culprits have been eliminated, tooth pain and issues have saved a tooth and resolved the issue for many. Sometimes that are issues with the die-off and there has been some success in dealing with that using enzymes or sodium alginate as well as keeping the kidneys and bowels functioning well to eliminate these offenders. (Dr L’s comment- we often find Takesumi and Camu Supreme as excellent products to deal with die off)

4. Body Restoration An Owners Manual - An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health. The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to recommend to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. It is available for $1.99 on kindle at https://www.amazon.com/Body-Restoration-Owners-Manual-ebook/dp/B0050653C4/
5. Body Restoration Cookbook - This companion volume to the above book was written by Cynthia Lebowitz and is now available free online (donations accepted). A wonderful tool for your patients as it contains almost 100 recipes- most without gluten, dairy, nightshades, etc. http://www.bodyrestorationanownersmanual.com/html/Cookbook.html
6. God’s Preventative Medicine- my latest book. It explains how the Levitical Priests dealt with fungal dysbiosis both preventatively and treatment wise as well as the reasons behind some of the other health laws of the Torah. It is a short easy to understand book and fascinating for the student of health and the Bible http://www.amazon.com/Gods-Preventative-Medicine-Discoveries-Instructions/dp/150892824X/
