New Product

1) Albizia Supreme™ (Supreme Nutrition 800-922-1744, https://shop.supremenutritionproducts.com/albizia-supreme/ ).

Key Indications: anxiety & depression, insomnia, immune boosting Albizia Bark (Albizia julibrissin)
Habitat and intro: Albizia (Albizia julibrissin) is a beautiful tree native to China, Korea, and Japan whose flowers and bark have long been valued as an exceptional medicine that was reputed to bring joy to the heart. In Chinese Medicine the energy of Albizia was considered to enter the heart and liver meridians and functions to release suppressed emotion and calm the heart and mind.

Chemical Constituents: Albizia bark contains albitocin, b-sitosterol, amyrin, trihydroxyflavone, spinasterylglucoside, machaerinic acid, lactone, methyl ester, acaci acid, hehuanoside A, and lactones. Albizia also contains three novel saponins: julibrosides I-III.

Historical Use: Some of its Chinese names translate to ‘happiness herb’ or ‘happiness bark’. Albizia has been used to help relieve stress, anxiety, support mood. It is considered to be a calming spirit herb and has even been used to treat difficult mental emotional conditions like depression and grief. Albizia has also been historically used to treat insomnia, poor memory, irritability, and anger from suppressed emotions. The bark has also been highly valued to help healing of external wounds and bone fractures. Ancient Chinese texts refer to its ability to help grow flesh and muscle, and reconnect sinew and bone. Albizia was reputed to nourish the five yin organs of the body: heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidney, and pericardium. According to the Divine Husbandman’s Classic of the Materia Medica, Albizia bark “quiets the five yin organs, focuses the mind, and makes people happy without care. Long-term consumption will lighten the body, brighten the eyes and allow people to achieve their desires.” Albizia has also been used historically to treat abscesses and boils. Several of the flavonol glycosides from Albizia including quercetrin and isoquercetrin have shown to have sedative activity. A significant anti-depressant effect of Albizia extract has been demonstrated, likely via the serotonin 5-HT1A receptor system and GABA receptor system. Albizia stem extracts have been shown to have potent antioxidant scavenging ability, up to 6 times stronger than vitamin C. It has potent neuroprotective effects and has been shown to enhance mitochondrial function. Some authors consider Albizia bark could be an antianxiety drug candidate. Albizia bark has been shown to suppress tumor growth and angiogenesis. Saponin fractions of Albizia have been shown to stimulate immune function. Extracts of Albizia have been shown to be strongly anti-inflammatory via TNF-α-and NF-κB inhibition.

Clinical use: I find this herb to be deeply nourishing for the nervous system and can help stabilize and uplift mood. Many patients suffering from depression, anxiety, insomnia, excess anger or grief may find incredible relief with taking Albizia. It tends to be calming more than sedating and helps to ease a busy mind. It is a very uplifting herb compared to other herbs of its class like Ashwaganda and tends to significantly improve mood. Whereas Ashwaganda is calming but helps restore energy at the same time, Albizia tends to have a stronger relaxing, uplifting effect on the mood. Albizia can be a very useful herb in those suffering from insomnia secondary to grief or short temper.
Suggested dose: Albizia bark is very safe and has been dosed up to 15g daily. For many people 2-3 caps twice daily is adequate to achieve a positive effect. Contraindications: Avoid in pregnancy as this herb has been shown to stimulate contractions of the uterus.

I’d like to thank Dr. Heath McAllister for bringing Albizia to our attention and doing this write-up. References on website if interested.

Whenever a physician is interested in an herb and they bring it to our attention we try to get multiple samples and start testing it on patients (or the physician supplies the sample). If we find it tests well on a large % of our patients we then give it to some willing test subjects and if it performs well and fills a needed niche we then will come out with it to make it available to all.

Novel use of Body Guard Supreme- An Unsolicited testimony

In the Fall of 2017 our 5 yr old Labrador Retriever was diagnosed for the 3rd time with a bladder infection. Microscope evaluation and other testing indicated struvite crystals were the causative factor. Struvite crystals are caused by ingesting soil bacterium that breaks down urine into urea for plant utilization. The bacterium after ingestion, migrates to the urinary tract where it finds plenty of urine and begins to break it down in the bladder, causing the crystals to form. After 30 days on antibiotics with no permanent resolution our veterinarian counseled us to put her on a special diet high in salt but low in magnesium to decrease, not eliminate, the crystal formation. Not only was the diet expensive but it offered no resolution to the real problem. After researching Struvite Crystals online, I decided to put her on Body Guard Supreme for 3 months. All research indicated that to eliminate the crystals, treatment had to be consistent and long term. She muscle tested strong for Body Guard and at 80lbs tested for 2 capsules per day. We used 2 bottles of Body Guard Supreme, which lasted 3 months. In the first two weeks the bleeding stopped and her bladder control became normal. It has been 6 weeks since her last dose and her infection has not recurred. We are absolutely ecstatic that we were able to find resolution for this situation rather than a lifetime of "management" through an unhealthy diet. Thank you for producing such quality products!

4. Body Restoration An Owners Manual - An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health. The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to recommend to your patient. 6. God’s Preventative Medicine- my latest book. It explains how the Levitical Priests dealt with fungal dysbiosis both preventatively and treatment wise as well as the reasons behind some of the other health laws of the Torah. It is a short easy to understand book and fascinating for the student of health and the Bible God's Preventative Medicine
