Dear Colleagues:

I hope you all are well and had a great holiday season. I delayed writing the newsletter until we had dates for our latest seminar which will be in Atlanta in April. Here are the details and a link to register

Lebowitz Chiropractic Seminar
Drs Michael and Noah Lebowitz
Sunday May 1, 2022 Atlanta, GA 9 am-5 pm

This class teaches an effective, easy, and fast way to "diagnose" and treat dysbiosis (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, viral, Lyme), food reactions, lectin, oxalate and histamine sensitivities, metal and chemical toxicity/sensitivity, coagulation issues, organ dysfunction, EMF issues, and much more. It is well suited to both the newcomer to the Lebowitz protocol as well as physicians who have been following Dr. Lebowitz's work for many years.

A basic ability to perform manual muscle testing is necessary to utilize these techniques. Correcting the abovementioned issues can help alleviate many symptoms, including various gastro-intestinal issues, dermatological and respiratory problems, fatigue, brain fog, headaches, inflammatory conditions, fibromyalgia, auto-immune issues, neurological symptoms, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, etc.

These techniques will help eliminate false negatives, which are very common in muscle testing, as well as false positives which often occur frequently in supplement testing The class comes with a full, easy to follow, set of notes and Drs. Lebowitz is always easily accessible to answer questions you may have after you have starting implementing the material.

Dr. Michael Lebowitz (developer of the original protocol) is a prolific writer, having authored 4 books, over 60 articles, and a free monthly newsletter for over 20 years (you can subscribe and read back issues here). He attracts patients from around the globe and treats many professional athletes (MLB, NHL, NFL, cyclists, runners, boxers, ballet, etc.), entertainers, as well as many physicians, and everyone else. When treating and correcting dysbiosis (fungus, parasites, bacteria, virus, etc.), food sensitivities, toxic metals and chemicals, nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, structural imbalances, and more, he has found that a majority of chronic and acute symptoms often resolve and the patient is restored to a better state of health.

Dr. Noah Lebowitz has been teaching with his father and on his own the last 5 years. He has a practice on Maui, Hawaii and specializes in patients with chronic illness. He has also treated many professional athletes including NHL, MLB, PGA, etc. players. He routinely has patients flying in from out of state/country, and has made house calls across the USA and to other countries.

Case Histories

Interesting observation from Richard Spina DC:
I keep forgetting to tell you this. I tested someone who had Covid a year ago. What tested positive was bananas, mint and the paraxanthines. Oddly enough, since he's had Covid he still has phantom smells and he also cannot stand the smell of two things because they smell putrid: bananas and mint

Two simple case histories- back to foundational AK

  1. Case by Noah Lebowitz Pukalani, Maui

A friend of a patient was visiting Maui and came to see me on December 15. For the past 3 months they had pain on the left abdominal area. CT scan, ultrasound, and all labs were normal. Sharp food or a cigarillo seemed to aggravate it. Also mentioned how since he was a child had acid reflux type symptoms.

Found Bacteria 2, theophylline, and casein. Gave Morinda Supreme (Supreme Nutrition Products), Magnesium Citrate from Metabolic Maintenance, and worked a hiatal hernia.

Patient flew back to Maui on Jan 3 and came in for a follow-up. Reported within a week all of the abdominal pain was gone and his acid reflux was gone! No vials showed on this visit and the hiatal hernia test was negative. He continued to strengthen on Morinda and Magnesium so gave a second bottle of each. He had added in both caffeine and dairy 2 days before this visit, and they both tested OK.

Extremely simple case, and was able to get rid of 3 months of abdominal pain after running many traditional western medical tests.

  1. Case by Michael Lebowitz Pukalani Maui

A 12 time grammy award winner came into see me with a chronic cough of 5 months duration. Laying on his left side and also nighttime aggravated it but it was fairly constant. He wasn’t able to sing (or sleep much) and it was wearing him down as he had a new album to record. Thousands of dollars of medical tests only yielded a finding of lung inflammation of a lower lobe and he was subscribed codeine and a steroidal inhaler neither of which brought relief. We found a few microbes. The main finding was that of a hiatal hernia. After correction over the next 14 days, 12 were cough free. The only 2 with coughs he had eaten close to bedtime. We corrected it again and gave him some simple home procedures to keep it down and let it recover.

The 2 above cases are slightly different. Since Noah’s patient took a week to fully respond the microbes were possibly primary though they corrected easily with just Morinda. In my patient the immediate cessation of symptoms is suggestive that the hiatal hernia was primary. There have been many cases over the years of people chasing GI and respiratory symptoms spending thousands of dollars when the answer is just a 30 second fix. Thank you Dr Goodheart!
