Dear Colleagues;

Next Lebowitz protocol Seminar

Chicago Seminar Sunday, October 22 9am-5pm
Hyatt Regency O’Hare
9300 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont, Illinois, United States, 60018

Dr Michael Lebowitz Dr Noah Lebowitz

This class teaches an effective, easy, and fast way to "diagnose" and treat dysbiosis (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, viral, Lyme), food reactions, lectin sensitivities, metal and chemical toxicity/sensitivity, coagulation issues, organ dysfunction, EMF issues, and much more. It is well suited to both the newcomer to the Lebowitz protocol as well as physicians who have been following Dr. Lebowitz's work for many years.

A basic ability to perform manual muscle testing is necessary to utilize these techniques. Correcting the above mentioned issues can help alleviate many symptoms, including various gastro-intestinal issues, dermatological and respiratory problems, fatigue, brain fog, headaches, inflammatory conditions, fibromyalgia, auto-immune issues, neurological symptoms, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, etc.

New techniques to help eliminate false negatives, which are very common in muscle testing, are discussed and demonstrated as well as false positives, which often occur in supplement testing. The class comes with a full, easy to follow, set of notes as well as a vimeo of a similar class and Drs. Lebowitz are always easily accessible to answer questions you may have after you have started implementing the material.

This technique has been taught to literally 1000’s of physicians and is used world wide with great success.

Dr. Michael Lebowitz (developer of the protocol) is a prolific writer, having authored 4 books, over 60 articles, and a free monthly newsletter for over 20 years (you can subscribe and read back issues on this site). He attracts patients from around the globe and treats many professional athletes (MLB, NHL, NFL, cyclists, runners, boxers, ballet, etc.), entertainers, as well as many physicians, and everyone else. When treating and correcting dysbiosis (fungus, parasites, bacteria, virus, etc.), food sensitivities, toxic metals and chemicals, nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, structural imbalances, and more, he has found that a majority of chronic and acute symptoms often resolve and the patient is restored to a better state of health. He practices on Maui.

Dr. Noah Lebowitz has been teaching with his father and on his own the last 6 years. He has a practice on Maui, Hawaii and specializes in patients with chronic illness. He has also treated many professional athletes including NHL, MLB, PGA, etc. players. He routinely has patients flying in from out of state, and has made house calls across the USA and to other countries.

ICAK HOMECOMING

A reminder that the ICAK Homecoming meeting is July 28-30 in Scottsdale, AZ. We have a great line up of speakers including Noah and myself. For quite a number of years Supreme Nutrition has given scholarships to all the students and first year docs to attend (totaling at least $300,000 so far) and will continue to do so as we want to see AK thrive and there is nothing better to motivate students than to have them participate in these conferences. To register for the conference, go to https://www.icakusa.com/events/save-date-2023-homecoming-scottsdale-az.

For scholarship info you can contact me.

Case History- Noah Lebowitz DC

A 34-year-old female first came in to see me in October 2022. She stated that in December 2021 she “got sick” which was very unusual for her. Tired, sleeping all day. Vaginal infection that lasted 1 month. She also felt inflamed in whole body, suffered from panic attacks and depression.

Past years - hands numb when wake, burning of skin, insomnia.

Was doing weekly vitamin IVs with a local ND along with ozone and acupuncture 2x per day.

Currently tired, depressed, brain fog. Was doing the “medical medium diet” (vegetarian version).

She was also taking about 25 professional grade supplements (no junk ones).

Findings from the Lebowitz protocol kit (https://michaellebowitzdc.com/html/protocol-full-explanation.pdf) were as follows: Gliadin, oat, onion, chlamydia, virus 2, borrelia, beryllium, gold, boron. Testosterone facilitated an inhibited indicator muscle.

Indicated supplements” Morinda Supreme, Vital Guard Supreme (Supreme Nutrition products)

Tyrosine (Pure encapsulations), Ultimate E (thorne)

She returned for a follow-up. After a brief reprieve she began feeling bad headaches again, exhausted (want to sleep all day), nauseous, numbness on hands, sweating/hot/cold, goosebumps on left thigh. One place.

Findings were as follows: Borrelia, fungus 2, solanine, aluminum,. chromium. Manganese, mercury.

Added Melia and Uva Ursi (Supreme Nutrition). Alpha Lipoic Acid 400mg )Pure Encapsulations).

She came back in 3 days for a quick check. Mercury and borrelia still showed. Added Takesumi Supreme

2 weeks later:

Way better. Not as tired, less headaches

Feeling more like self. Less sad (still sad, but better). Much better than before initial visit

Added L Tyrosine Pure Encapsulations. No vials showed.

Since then have continued to see every 2 weeks. Heavy metals will show up on some visits and not other visits. Takesumi and ALA have been constant. Every visit she is impressed how she feels better and better.

It seems in her case she had a lot of heavy metals but had to deal with the microbes at first so her body could handle detoxing them. Once we started to detox with ALA and Takesumi that's when she really started to improve. She's not back to where she wants, but in the 3 months I've seen her she has improved while in the past year of treatment with very expensive "fancy" therapies she had no improvement

Reflections on Japanese Diet

Traditionally the Japanese diet is very balanced. I was very impressed with the number of foods in each meal that were therapeutic for blood flow, detoxification, liver support etc. We stayed at a hotel that provided 2 traditional meals daily

Meals usually consisted of the following:

*Meat and fish (raw and grilled) (omega 3 etc), organs were common- tripe, intestine, heart, liver, testicle, etc

*Radish up to 3 different kinds (great for sulfation)

*Pickled vegetables radish, cucumber (probiotics), ginger and wasabi (anti-microbials)

*Salad

*Natto

*Miso soup (probiotic) with seaweed (detox and trace minerals)

*Konjac (a great binder and prebiotic)

*Green tea unsweetened

*Noodles and rice

*Small dessert sometimes just a small piece of fruit or two.

*Smaller portions of lots of different items. Very few processed oils and sweetening

Unfortunately the modern diet has added lots of sweets and processed wheat products and vending machines all over with dozens of sweetened coffee and teas.

It seems, though intuitively they knew to add some great foods to support and nourish the body.

This is the most in-depth, as well as the highest quality, seminar we have ever recorded.
In addition to the seminar itself we have a 15 minute recording of Dr. Michael Lebowitz taking a new patient history. We also have a 25 minute video on what to expect on a follow-up visit and how to approach continued care.

2. Personal Seminars with Dr. Lebowitz: Dr. Lebowitz teaches seminars to one or two doctors at a time at his office on Maui. This is probably the best way to learn our protocols with a personalized, hands on experience. To schedule one of these classes you need to either have watched the above vimeo or already taken a class with Dr. Lebowitz over the past 5 years. Cost depends on who long the session lasts (usually 3 to 5 hours depending on your needs). Fee is $150 per hour of class. For more info or to schedule call us at 970-623-9565. Noah Lebowitz DC is also available to teach the class (and sometimes you get us both).

3. Lebowitz protocol kit- Call Cynthia at AK Test Kits 970 201-7406 or see our website http://www.michaellebowitzdc.com for more details. These kits will greatly simplify and speed up your testing making you more efficient and accurate in patient assessment. These are “diagnostic kits”. Supplement kits are ordered directly from Supreme Nutrition 1-800-922-1744. With the majority of our patients, this is the only kit we use.

4. Body Restoration An Owners Manual - An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health. The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to recommend to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. It is available for $1.99 on kindle at https://www.amazon.com/Body-Restoration-Owners-Manual-ebook/dp/B0050653C4/

5. Body Restoration Cookbook - This companion volume to the above book was written by Cynthia Lebowitz and is now available free online (donations accepted). A wonderful tool for your patients as it contains almost 100 recipes- most without gluten, dairy, nightshades, etc. Body Restoration Cookbook

6. God’s Preventative Medicine- It explains how the Levitical Priests dealt with fungal dysbiosis, biofilms, etc. both preventatively and treatment wise as well as the reasons behind some of the other health laws of the Torah. $1.99 on kindle. It is a short easy to understand book and fascinating for the student of health and the Bible God's Preventative Medicine
