Dear Colleagues

I hope you all are doing well. I received an interesting email from Wally Schmitt DC recently telling me I have been the most prolific writer of articles for ICAK (collected papers) over the past dozen years. That took me by surprise since I haven’t written for them in the past few years but it was neat to know. I have been too busy in my practice and research, though knowing that may motivate me to write more in the future.

There has been a demand for our services from businessmen in Russia with chronic health problems. We are setting up a program where they can come for two weeks of intensive treatment here in Grand Junction and work with me, along with having catered meals as per my specifications, and an athletic trainer. In the past we have been able to accomplish much, working intensely over a two week period. Ideally we need someone well trained in my protocols who would be willing to travel to Moscow every 3 months or so to work on people. Financially it could prove lucrative for the right person. If this intrigues you and you know my protocols inside and out, feel free to email me. I don’t want to add that much travel to my schedule at this point in time.

Clinical Tidbits

  1. It has appeared to me that it is typically advantageous to treat all forms of dysbiosis a patient has simultaneously as opposed to sequentially. Otherwise, if we choose to not treat one form it can greatly increase in population when we “kill off” the others. What I now do is screen the composite vials for fungus, bacteria, virus, parasites, rickettsia, chlamydia and protozoa (Test Kit Consultants 1-970-243-0477). Whichever ones are positive, I find the correct remedy for. I then desensitize the patient and recheck all the vials again and in about 20% of cases another will test positive. I repeat this procedure until none are positive. On occasion you may have to go through the procedure three or four times before all are negative. We then go on with the rest of the protocol. We supplement with the appropriate remedies. The whole procedure only takes one or two minutes and has yielded even better results than doing it the old way. This is a variation of our old “tap and zap” technique.

Case Histories

1) Sandy is a 50 year old female who presented with chronic fatigue and brain fog of many years duration. She also had sugar handling problems and symptoms which suggested toxic metals (migrating teeth pain, drooling, gingivitis, intermittent visual changes). She had put on 15 pounds over the past year without any change in diet (suggestive of fugal problems). She weakened on the bacterial and fungal composite vials (Test Kit Consultants 970-243-0477). She was also sensitive to the mercury vial as well as rice, chicken and nightshades. SF722, Berbercap, Thiocid, L-Tyrosine, and Folic Acid Liquid as a mouthwash (all Thorne Research 800-228-1966) were the appropriate supplements. We rechecked her approximately one month later. She no longer had fatigue or brain fog and said she has “tons of energy”. The toxic metal symptoms listed above had all improved too. She continues on Thiocid, L-Tyrosine, and Folic Acid and we added Captomer (Thorne) and will continue to periodically monitor progress. This is a very simple, typical case without complications.

2) Annie is a 39 year old female who presented with headaches that only occurred on the weekend, as well as fatigue (despite 10 hours sleep nightly), PMS, sweets cravings, and postural hypotension. She had been on relatively high doses of prednisone for a year and had now been off them for 3 months. On testing, she weakened on composite vials for protozoa and industrial chemicals as well as wheat and tomato. We supplemented with Artecin, Basic Nutrients I, and L-Tyrosine (Thorne). She has remained free of headaches and fatigue since one week after treatments and stays on Basic Nutrients I and L-Tyrosine. Sometimes in patients that have headaches on weekends only, we need to evaluate air samples from their place of worship or other place they go on the weekened. In this case, it was not necessary.

3) Esther is a sixty year old female who was referred by her medical doctor. She had been diagnosed with Menieres syndrome almost three years ago with attacks of vertigo, progressive hearing loss in the left ear that was close to total loss, and tinnitus. The Menieres had started after moving from 5000 feet elevation to 7500 feet and also shortly after having a tooth extracted. She also suffered from extreme fatigue.

Using the vials from Test Kit Consultants (1-970-243-0477) we found her to weaken on the following vials: mixed fungus, mixed bacteria, chicken, pepper, and gluten. She had no cranial or TMJ findings via traditional AK analysis. We placed her on SF722 and Berbercap (Thorne 1-800-228-1966), took her off the foods plus refined sweetening and fermented foods for three weeks, and desensitized her. She called yesterday (3 weeks after her initial appointment) to give me a progress report as she couldn’t reschedule for another month due to travel commitments. She stated that for the first time in 2 years she could hear out of her left ear (not quite a Harvey Lillard story but not bad). She no longer had vertigo or fatigue but still suffered from tinnitus. Needless to say she was very encouraged. I am anxious to re-check her to see what her findings are. I have found over the years that Menieires almost always responds very favorably and so far 100% of the time there is fungal involvement to varying degrees in each case.
