We hope you are well and enjoying the summer. As we are contemplating our next seminar we wonder if there are any requests as to where to have it.
Are there any requests for a winter seminar in a subtropical setting either somewhere in Hawaii or Naples, FL? If you would be serious in attending one of these locations please let us know as soon as possible. If enough respond in the positive we will do it. We still see the number of findings in the average patient increases year to year. I see a lot more patients with parasites than previously and the same goes for toxic metals. We have quite a few patients come down with fungal or parasite involvement after visiting hot springs. Also here in the southwest most of us use swamp coolers instead of air conditioners and we've seen these spread fungal problems. It is very important to try if possible to detect the source of exposure to the microorganism for the patient to prevent recidivism. To give a case history to elaborate the point Ken, a 45-year old man came in a few months back with chronic sinus problems for many years that he called disabling. He had been to a diplomate in AK who was able to help some problems as well as a CRA practitioner. Again, neither helped his sinus problem. He also had fatigue and brain fog. We found fungal and parasite involvement and sensitivities to dairy, onion, millet, and pineapple. We desensitized him, placed him on an appropriate diet and supplemented with SF722, Basic Nutrients III (both Thorne), and Picrasama Excelsa (Eclectic). His sinus symptoms cleared and he was ecstatic.
On re-examining him we found garlic and dairy sensitivities as well as the continual need for Basic Nutrients III. Mercury tested positive, which is not uncommon, once dysbiosis is cleared. Kent stayed asymptomatic for quite awhile until he visited a Hot Springs about 200
miles from here and his sinus condition returned. On re-examination we found the fungal involvement returned and the timing was consistent with the Hot Springs visit (we have seen this many times before). Whether the transmission happens in the water or the locker room we have yet to discern. He is now back on the diet and SF722 and we expect his symptoms to quickly resolve.

Many of you know this already (as we get plenty) but for those of you that use our protocols we are happy to answer short e-mails giving advice on products or patients. If it would be a long complicated e-mail I would much prefer a phone call to discuss it.
There is still plenty of room for good AK practitioners in Western Colorado. There are a few here but very few and the demand is great. It is a nice place to live and raise children and if you are proficient in my protocols you may get many referrals from others and me.
TIDBITS
Remember that in toxic metal cases it is not unusual for food sensitivities to keep changing visit to visit so they have to be repeatedly re-tested and treated to minimize patient symptoms. We've had a lot of patients in new homes come down with copper toxicity from the pipes. There definitely are a subset of patients I call 'metal storers' that appear to be inefficient metal excreters possibly due to a genetic glitch. These people you need to keep on top of with proper supplementation and advice on minimizing metal exposure on the environment.
Most of my metal toxic patients start out needing glutathione and/or Thiocid (both Thorne) and after 3-6 weeks test that they are ready to switch over to Captomer. This is a generalization and we encourage you to test. I feel what is happening is at first they are chelating out easily accessible metals and once the Captomer shows they are ready to chelate out of the nervous system too. Close to all my chronically ill patients show metals at some point with mercury and copper being the most common in my practice. It is truly becoming epidemic in this day and age. I also find a fair number of patients showing arsenic, lead, aluminum, and cadmium and a lesser number showing nickel, titanium, and iron

It is approximately 4 miles from the airport serviced by United, Delta and Continental Airlines. Seminars run from 9:00-4:00. These classes are tailored to meet your individual needs and can be as basic or advanced as you would like. Treatment for you and/or your family can be included in the teaching. Lunch is provided and this is a great place to vacation all times of the year with nearby attractions in both Colorado and Utah. Colorado continuing education hours can be provided.
