Dear Colleagues, I hope you are well. We had a great seminar in NY and the video is now ready and a flyer is enclosed. (see page 4) For those of you that want our latest and best on diagnosing (AK & lab ) and treating dysbiosis, toxic metals and chemicals, food sensitivities, etc., etc. we encourage you to get this 6 hour video. Treating these will help most gastrointestinal, hormonal, auto-immune, neurological and dermatological problems including chronic fatigue, subluxations, pain, asthma, headaches, sinus trouble, rashes, etc.

PRODUCT OF THE MONTH

1. Laser - Dr Chuck Tillotson has made available a 635 nm 5 mw line output laser for $285 (ppd). His number is 940-382-6141. We have found this laser extremely useful in desensitization and other procedures and think it may be a great alternative to the much more expensive models being promoted. Try it and see.

2. Ultimate E - (Thorne Research 800-228-1966) This is a product of mixed tocopherols.

Personally I have found that in AK testing many patients prefer mixed tocopherols to straight vitamin E. Studies suggest that mixed tocopherols can aid in arterial plaque reversal, lower cholesterol, cancer inhibition, and are a stronger anti-oxidant than just d-alpha tocopherol. I think you will find many patients will test positive on this product.

Dose is 1-2 daily.

3. Indole - 3 - Carbinol (Thorne) - This is a natural constituent of the cabbage family. It has potential to have anti-cancer activity according to studies, especially estrogen related cancers. We have found to date that it has tested positive on all our patients who preciously suffered from cancer. We also found that Glutathione also tests positive in these type cases. It may also be useful in toxic metal cases - since the cabbage family usually is but I have not tested it for that function yet. I like to dose 1 cap t.i.d.

Some doctors have asked which supplements I use the most in my office. The following are the 20 I go through the most (not in order): Basic Nutrients III, Basic B Complex, Arabinex, Artecin, Berbercap, Biomins II, Captomer, Captomer 250, Cortrex, Glutathione, 5 HTP, ImEnCap, Omega Plus, SF722, Thiocid, Tyrosine, Undecyn, Meta Fem, Al's Formula (all Thorne), and Juglans freeze dried (Eclectic). I have found as the years go by that more and more people need anti-microbials and the copper free multi and multi-minerals are out testing the ones with copper as more and more people have copper pipes in their homes.

CASE HISTORIES

Allie, a 12-year-old girl, presented with a history of intermittent episodes of tongue numbness where talking would be difficult. These episodes would last for one half hour at a time every few weeks. She also suffered from frequent migraines. She had been put on anti-depressants, which helped for a while but then ceased to bring relief. Her aunt and father suffered from similar symptoms and Allie's symptoms first started a month after receiving her first amalgam filling.

We found evidence of fungal involvement and sensitivity to aluminum and mercury. We desensitized her and placed her on SF722, Thiocid, and Glutathione (all Thorne) and she has remained a-symptomatic for over 7 months.

Dr. Wilson, Dr Charny, others, and myself have found that even children who grow up on organic food, if they are living in an urban environment are at high risk for metal toxicity. With muscle testing of the metals themselves (not the homeopathic remedies), proper desensitization techniques, supplements like Captomer, Glutathione, Thiocid, and the BEFE Unit I feel we are the best-equipped physicians to handle these cases. I must repeat that it is imperative we treat dysbiosis before or concurrent with metals to minimize re-absorption during intestinal excretion.
