Dear Colleagues
I hope you all are well. We have been very busy with patients and also researching little known herbs to see if any fit therapeutic niches that could benefit our patients. I hope to fill you in more on these soon.
Now that the regular baseball season is over I thought I would fill you in on my one patient who is a professional baseball player. This is the first season where I was able to monitor him. We kept him on supplements the whole season and I got to work on him 3x during spring training and once again in August (not nearly enough but his team was 600 miles from us). In 2006 he performed very poorly and it looked like he would have to retire until he was picked up by the Royals organization. We did our best AK with him and kept him on Mediclear, Basic Nutrients, Basic B, L-Tyrosine (all Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966), and a fatty acid throughout the season. He also took Morinda Supreme (1-800-922-1744) as needed. He stayed off corn which tested poorly during spring training. This was the first season he didn’t have a cold or flu (though most of the team did). His batting average went up 65 points from the previous season and he led the league in triples and was in the top ten of the league in doubles, stolen bases, and on base percentage. All in all it was a very good season and he gives a lot of credit to his nutritional regimen. We are not sure where or if he will play next season. He is also quite a successful businessman. If he plays and the team has spring training on the west coast I am sure I will work with him and some of his teammates as he is very enthused and has been sharing about AK with many teammates. I am also doing some nutritional counseling with another player on another team who has a promising major league career in front of him.
Case Histories
1) George is a 61 year old male who presented with severe IBS of over ten years duration. He is also on disability due to a series of strokes in the mid 1990’s. He only weighed 95 pounds at the time of his first visit and his first appointment was
in June. He came in for a follow-up 3 months later (money issues and a conflict of schedules). On the first visit he weakened on the mixed parasite vial (AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625) and it was negated by Morinda Supreme and Neem oil. He also weakened on coffee, gluten, egg and rice. After 3 months of following instructions (though only on the supplements for 1 month), he had gained 15 much needed pounds and was doing much better. He was very pleased.
2) His 51 year old wife also came in 3 months ago suffering from a period of one month duration. She refused to see any medical doctors despite my suggestion to see one. She weakened on the mixed fungus vial, estrogen vial, chocolate, coffee, peppers, tuna and sesame. We supplemented with Morinda Supreme and Body Guard Supreme (Mid American 1-800-922-1744) and Progon B (Bewecken). We took her off refined sweetening and fermented foods. We were able to do a follow-up a month later and everything was fine though she tested for EndoSupreme (1-800-922-1744) which we added to the regimen. Her next visit was today two months later. Everything was fine though she needs to continue on the EndoSupreme. She has lost 17 pounds (which she needed to) from the program. We hope to do a follow-up on both of them in about a month.
3) Submitted by Brett Morgan DC in WV: “Here’s a great case I saw last month. Nancy traveled to the Caribbean 5 years ago and came back with an upset stomach. This went on for several months and she eventually went to the doctor. She was diagnosed with h. pylori. Initial antibiotic treatment showed no response. She was then given a major dose of antibiotics. She was later told that this was successful, even though she continued to have the same symptoms. After several months the symptoms became worse. She could not eat without vomiting a portion of the food back up. This went on for 5 YEARS. She saw many doctors including a trip to the Mayo Clinic. They told her she needed relaxation / stress reduction counseling. She tested positive to mixed fungus, mixed parasites, and chemical/inhalants composite (AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625). Morinda Supreme and Thiocid tested positive, I didn't test other nutrients as she had problems taking any supplements.
When I saw her three weeks later, she had gone a whole week without vomiting. She was able to eat lettuce with no problems. Previously lettuce always came back up, and she's a vegetarian).
