I hope you all are well and that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and have a great holiday season and New Year. In January I will be sharing about a great new product that will be coming out by www.Supremenutritionproducts.com (available through Mid American Marketing 1-800-922-1744). I personally have been using “prototypes” of it for a number of months and have been very impressed. It will act as an all around wellness formula, immune booster, anti-oxidant, multi-organ support and will be from 100% food sources only. It probably won’t be on the market until the end of December and the tentative name is Ono Supreme.
In this month’s newsletter I wish to share a few case histories on a number of patients in which the results even succeeded my expectations.
Case Histories
1. Pam is a 58 year old whose first appointment with me was in October. She had been diabetic for 15 years. She had developed diabetic neuropathy in all her extremities. She takes her blood sugar at home and she ranges from 250 on awakening to 400 most of the day (she said she averages about 380). These are her levels ON medication. Her medications for her diabetes include Metformin (the most popular oral diabetic drug for type 2 diabetes) as well as Byetta (also know as “lizard spit” as the original source was gila monster saliva- and the physicians say we practice voodoo). She is also on zocor and aciphex. She had been off of refined sugars and refined grains for months also (and still her blood sugar was so high). She drank 4 diet
cokes daily, had early signs of osteoporsis and was scheduled for knee replacement surgery in November.
Our findings were the following: 1) she weakened on the following vials from AK Test Kits (1-888-323-0625) Fungus 2 (that was all!). Next we tested food vials from AK Test Kits for strengthening. While she didn’t weaken on any on the grain vials, she didn’t strengthen on them either, and didn’t strengthen on nightshades or dairy. She did strengthen on beans, fruits, eggs, meats and non-starch vegetables (individual foods were tested that fell into these categories to see if we would find a pattern). I sometimes test this way to try to find the patients “ideal” diet. I often do this on obese patients. We had her go off all grains and starchy vegetables.
She strengthened on the following products: Morinda Supreme and Endo Supreme (Mid American Marketing 1-800-922-1744) and Basic Nutrients I and Calcium Magnesium Citramate (Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966)
Pam returned in about 2 ½ weeks. She had stuck to the diet about 95%. She had lost 6 pounds. Her blood sugar was now averaging 135 and some mornings was 110. On her own she dropped the Byetta and had decreased her Metformin in half.
Considering her small amount of findings and her good diet when she first came in I wasn’t expecting such dramatic results. She was one of those patients that took it for granted that this would happen (It always amazes me when someone has been very ill for 15 years despite “the best” medical intervention and you greatly improve things in one visit and they just take it for granted). We will continue to see her and she continues on the diet and 4 supplements.
2. Susan is a 59 year old woman who came in complaining of wide swings in energy level, moods, and clarity of thinking. She also suffered from 3-4 headaches weekly. She was taking a blood pressure medication- lisinopryl, an adrenal supplement- highly touted by another AK teacher, as well as a multi-vitamin. Her behavioral swings and energy swings were effecting her ability to work efficiently as well as affecting her relationships. She weakened on the following vials by AK Test Kits: Fungus composite, Fungus 2 composite, Borrelia and orange. She also weakened on her multi and her adrenal supplement. We took her off the 2 supplements and replaced them with Basic Nutrients I (Thorne) and Endo Supreme (Mid American), both of which strengthened her as well as Morinda Supreme for the “microbes”. We took her off oranges, refined sweetening and fermented foods for 14 days. It is now 4 months and 2 visits later. Susan continues on the supplementation as it still tests positive. Her emotions, energy, clarity
and stress handling capacity are all greatly improved and she no longer suffers from headaches.
3. Delores is a 52 year old woman. She had just lost her job due to depression. She had very little money and an ex co-worker was paying for her first treatment (often those situations do not work out but I thought I would give it a try). She was on a prescription anti-depression medication (Paxal). She also had multiple boils that she had suffered with for years- the present ones mainly being axillary in location.
She weakened on the following vials from AK Test Kits: virus composite, Fungus composite, Mixed Parasites composite, Protozoa composite, Pesticides composite, chicken. We put her on the following supplements (supplements are determined by AK as directed by patient history, exam findings, etc.): Biomins II, L-Tyrosine, Glutathione-SR (all Thorne Research); Morinda Supreme and Endo Supreme (Mid American Marketing) and Phyto-B (Bezwecken). We took her off refined sweetening and fermented foods for 2 weeks. Delores took 1 month before she returned. She was back to work and feeling tremendously better and no longer suffered from boils. Her dysbiosis wasn’t totally cleared but appeared to be 90% or so corrected. We put her back on the diet and refilled the Morinda, l-Tyrosine, and Phyto-B. We also added Neem oil for 2 weeks. Delores is a changed woman and is very thankful.
Important Tidbit
1. We have found that in many female acne patients- at least one of the 3 estrogen vials in the Biochemical and Hormone Kit (AK Test Kits) will weaken only when placed over the lesions. Things that appear to negate it can be Progon B (Bezwecken), BodyGuard Supreme, Ono Supreme (Mid American), Basic B (Thorne). When we desensitize and give the appropriate supplements it has enhanced our results. These vials also often show positive in PMS if placed over either the liver or the pubic bones (Ovary NL) and are treated similarly.
