Dear Colleagues

I hope you are enjoying the winter and had a great New Years day.

New Product

I am both happy and excited to announce the next addition to the Supreme Nutrition Products line (sold by Mid American Marketing 1-800

-922-1744). This product has been a long time in the making, taking over a year to research and develop. It is called TheraSupreme. The goal of TheraSupreme was to create a product that is a superb anti-oxidant, high in vitamins and minerals, an immune booster, a 100% natural food product that could be added to a drink as an all round health booster. We are very pleased with the results.

There are many products already on the market that have mixes of fruits, vegetables, enzymes, etc. etc. Most of these products appear to put everything that has ever gotten good press into one mix. Unfortunately from an AK standpoint, these products rarely “strengthen” patients and in most cases “weaken” patients. With this in mind, we weren’t sure we would be able to make a product to meet our criteria. We started by buying small amounts of most of the individual ingredients found in other products and doing blind testing on 50 patients- testing each sample individually for strengthening, neutrality or weakening. We wanted to include only those ingredients that strengthened close to 100% of patients. Using these criteria in our testing we found whole categories of items that did not strengthen the vast majority of patients, and weakened many. These categories included algae (spirulina, chlorella, etc.), grass juices (wheatgrass, barley grass, etc.), fungal derived enzymes, and pro-biotics. All of

these have their place but again we wanted something that would benefit close to 100% of patients (via AK). Unfortunately, most of the above mentioned ingredients appear in most fruit/vegetable blends on the market. We also found the majority of patients did not strengthen on alfalfa which is often found in these types products. After much experimentation we settled on 10 ingredients (from an initial batch of over 60) and then blended them in varying ratios to make it the most optimum. This is an interesting product because as with each other Supreme Nutrition Product- every new batch must pass the same blind muscle tests to be released on the market (this has not always been easy especially with Morinda Supreme, as many samples had to be rejected). With 10 ingredients in TheraSupreme - we may find it necessary at times to make slight variations in the ingredient list due to possible unavailability of raw materials that pass our tests.

For instance I would have loved to add powdered beet to TheraSupreme but couldn’t find one that passed our testing. If we do, we might add it in the future. Each new batch will be accompanied by a new test vial for you. We finally have a complete product that passed all our tests. The price is very competitive with other “similar type products” you may see in doctors offices and health food stores.

TheraSupreme has the following 10 ingredients: Acai berry, acerola cherry, bilberry, blueberry, elderberry, carrot juice, asparagus, broccoli, black radish, and cilantro (coriander). All have been tested to be free of pesticide residue (I actually like this better than most organic classifications as some organic food is grown on land with a long history of pesticide use and has only a few years without pesticides). It comes in a 270 gm container with a 9gm scoop, so you have 30 servings. I take one scoop daily in fruit juice (it is decent in water but better in juice).

What makes this product unique are a few things:

1) Each ingredient and batch must pass stringent AK tests

2) No added grass juices, algae or fungal derived enzymes as they do not test good on the majority of patients in our tests

3) An all encompassing fruit/vegetable blend containing plants with many different nutrients, phyto-chemicals, etc.

I feel for the sensitive patient this can act like taking a multi and for everyone it can supply many phyto-nutrients that we do not get in our daily diet and will help boost our nutrient levels and over all immunity, health, and well being.

In AK testing it also often blocks positive tests for chemicals and metals, some microbes and will strengthen many weak organ NL’s- again a very complete product that almost everyone will benefit from. I

have been on it for 4 months, have traveled extensively, eaten poorly and stayed well while many around me have had colds, flu, etc.

Just to give you some info on the individual ingredients (just really the tip of the iceberg; if you Google each nutrient individually and look up the reputable references)

Acai berry- a major part of the diet in some Amazon regions. It is a great source of dietary fiber and actually a good source of monounsaturated fats. It is very high in anti-oxidants including proanthocyanidins. It is also anti-inflammatory due to its ability to inhibit COX-1.

Acerola cherry- long been known for its high vitamin C content. It is also a rich source of vitamin A and contains B1, B2, B3 and magnesium in significant amounts.

Bilberry- high in anthocyanin pigments, reportedly helpful for night vision, macular degeneration and some heart conditions and other vascular disorders.

Blueberry- recent studies suggest blueberries may be useful in reducing cancer risk, slowing the cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s, controlling blood pressure and prevention of urinary tract infections. It can also be a good source of vitamin K as well as manganese.

Elderberry- another rich source of anti-oxidants and various phyto-nutrients - it has been shown to have anti-viral activity especially against certain strains of influenza. A good source of carotenoids and other nutrients

Carrot juice- a rich source of beta-carotene. Also a source of B vitamins, calcium, copper, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, chlorine, sulfur, and iron

Asparagus-supplies vitamins A,C,E, iodine, folic acid. Traditionally it has been used to strengthen the genito-urinary system and more recently has been used to help in people with various forms of cancer.

Broccoli- a rich source of vitamin A , C and selenium. Also contains phyto-nutrients with anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-cancer properties, as well as a potent detoxifier

Black radish-one of the greatest detoxifiers and an activator of liver detoxification enzymes

Coriander/Cilantro -contains an antioxidant that helps prevent animal fats from turning rancid. Mildly anti-bacterial and anti-fungal and used by some to chelate mercury and other heavy metals.

Case Histories

1. Jim is a 58 year old executive who first presented in November. He said he had physically crashed in July and since then had been suffering from extreme fatigue, brain fog and mood swings, as well as asthma.

He went to a number of different specialists in town and was eventually referred to the Mayo Clinic. They gave him a diagnosis of cytomegalovirus virus and they said there was no treatment. He suffered into November and then a friend recommended our office. Upon taking his history, he stated that the symptoms developed soon after a leak had developed in his office and that others in the office developed the same symptoms. On testing he weakened on the following composite vials (AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625 or 1-970-257-0311): Fungus, Fungus 2, Parasites, Protozoa, Chlamydia as well as wheat. Morinda Supreme (Mid American Marketing 1-800-922-1744) and Neem oil negated the composites. He also strengthened on Cal-Mag Citramate and L-Tyrosine (Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966). We desensitized him, took him off wheat, refined sweetening and fermented food and gave him the supplements. He came back 2 weeks later. He no longer had fatigue, brain fog or mood swings and his breathing had improved. He tested free of dysbiosis. We kept him on the L-Tyrosine and Cal-Mag. He continues to do well.

2. Grace is a 69 year old woman who suffered from debilitating diarrhea for 1 year. She would awaken at least 4 times nightly to have a bowel movement and averaged 8-10 bowel movements during the daytime. She had not had a formed solid stool for a year. She had been diagnosed as having lupus a few years ago and the doctors blamed the diarrhea on the lupus and said it couldn’t be treated. The only medication she was on was Armour thyroid. The only composite vial she weakened on was mixed bacteria. She also weakened on dairy, potato, tomato and sesame. We put her on Morinda Supreme and Lemongrass Oil, as well as L-Glutamine (Thorne- one scoop 3x/day) and HLC Hi Potency Powder (acidophilus- Pharmax). We asked her to go to her MD and see if she could switch from Armour to Synthroid. I asked her to return in a week. She came in and said the bowel movements were getting more solid and less frequent. We switched from Lemongrass to Neem Oil and continued the rest. She came back the following week and said for 4 days her bowel movements had been perfect (to say she was thrilled was an understatement). We dropped the L-Glutamine and kept up the Morinda Supreme, Neem Oil and Acidophilus. She continues to do and recently was able to go off the Neem and Acidophilus.
