Dear Colleagues

I hope you are well.

I have been working on my seminar schedule for this year and those of you that would like to study my protocols have a few options

1. April 3rd Tokyo- actually a non nutrition seminar sponsored by ICAK Japan. If interested call me

2. July 17th Dallas TX sponsored by Thorne Research more details to be announced soon

3. Seminar taught with Jay Wilson DC in Denver- no dates yet

4. June 2nd ICAK Preconference Seminar Orlando- sponsored by ICAK immediately preceding yearly ICAK conference. I will also be doing a one hour presentation at the meeting on Food Toxins- an expanded version of last year’s presentation

5. My one on one seminars tailored to meet your needs here at my Grand Junction office- call to reserve a date- typically any Sunday I am in town

6. My 2010 seminar DVD has all you need to do my protocol as long as you know basic muscle testing. Available for purchase on my website

Thorne Research now has a patient express program. If you register- you get a HCP code which allows patients to order products direct from Thorne. Monthly Thorne will send you a check for 90% of the difference between the professional and retail cost of the products ordered. For me it saves me many trips to the post office where I typically ship products to out of town patients. Also I can keep a smaller inventory of products I do not use that often (products I use frequently I will continue to stock normally). Call Anna Ritchy at Thorne 1-800-228-1966 to set this up.

Case history #1 submitted by Richard Spina DC

One of my more interesting cases lately is a young woman who, for the past two or more years has had herpes zoster outbreaks every couple of weeks. She has also had multiple weekly migraines. Both conditions were worsening and two years of allopathic treatment did not bring any resolution or help.

On her first visit (November) she reacted to the Mixed Chlamydia and Herpes Zoster Vials, Albumin and Gluten (AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625).

Supplements were as follows

Morinda Supreme – three capsules three times daily

Melia Supreme – one capsules three times daily

Thera Supreme – one scoop in water or a smoothie daily

Takesumi Supreme – two scoops in water or a smoothie daily

Reishi Supreme – one capsule three times daily

Magnesium Citramate– one capsule daily; every two days add one capsule until bowel tolerance with a maximum of two capsules three times daily

B Complex #6 – take one capsule three times daily

All supplements with Supreme in the name are from Supreme Nutrition Products 1-800-922-1744. All others are from Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966.

Her migraines and shingles quickly resolved.

In the beginning of February she just reacted to gluten and was told to slowly reintroduce eggs and to be retested soon. She had no migraines and no shingles. She felt more energetic and all-around well-being.

Her instructions:

The following negated a weak muscle reaction to the herpes zoster vial:

Morinda Supreme – three capsules three times daily

Reishi Supreme – one capsule three times daily

The following supplements negated a weak muscle reaction:

Thera Supreme – one scoop in water or a smoothie daily

Magnesium Citramate– one capsule daily; every two days add one capsule until bowel tolerance with a maximum of two capsules three times daily

Basic B Complex – one capsule three times daily

At the end of February she had her first Herpes Zoster outbreak since treatment began. She had eaten gluten which appears to have triggered it. Still no migraines.

I retested her and this is what came up:

The following negated a weak muscle reaction to the herpes zoster vial:

Morinda Supreme – three capsules three times daily

Melia Supreme – one capsule three times daily

The following supplements negated a weak muscle reaction:

Thera Supreme – one scoop in water or a smoothie daily

Magnesium Aspartate– one capsule daily; every two days add one capsule until bowel tolerance with a maximum of two capsules three times daily

Basic B Complex – one capsule three times daily

Wild Greens Supreme – two teaspoons in water or a smoothie daily

Coconut Oil Supreme– add at least two tablespoons to your diet daily (either adding to a smoothie or cooking with it)

Meriva SR – take two capsules two times daily

Gluten and paraxanthine tested positive. Albumin was fine. She was told to totally avoid all gluten, caffeine, theobromine, theophylline.

She has been migraine-free since and, except after some "cheating" (a piece of chocolate cake for one) she had been free of shingles. Living a life free of the food toxins you routinely test positive to seems to bring more and more resolution from chronic problems as time goes on. It may make things a little tough for the results can be well worth it.

Case History #2 Dr. Lebowitz patients

Recently I have had the pleasure of treating 4 sisters ages 40-54 all presenting with insomnia that medical intervention did not help. Neither parent had this condition. All four tested for Thornes 5-HTP and Pharma Gaba Pro. All four became symptom free within a few days. After one bottle the Pharma Gaba no longer tested positive but they all still need 5HTP. I found this interesting since you would think at least one of the parents had this condition and that there is some type genetic glitch but this doesn’t seem to be the case.
