Dear Colleagues

I hope you all are well. When I wrote the last newsletter my plans had been for my wife and I to be in Japan most of April- teaching and visiting our son. After the tragedy at Fukushima happened, the seminar was cancelled and we brought our son home early. As I result I got to spend some extra time at spring training (got to see some of the players I’ve worked on in game situations), continue to work on my forthcoming book, and start working on some other projects I previously did not have time for.

Those of you that get this newsletter by snail mail missed the mid month update when I talked about supplements for radioactive exposure. It should be posted on our website shortly (in the past issues of newsletters).

I am still teaching one on one seminars to interested doctors here at my office. These can be tailor made to meet your needs and are the most effective way to learn our techniques. My next larger class will be the pre-conference seminar at the June ICAK conference in Orlando. I will be teaching my whole seminar in a 4 hour time spot I have on June 2nd from 8AM-noon. The seminar fee is only $100 and the proceeds go to the ICAK. If you plan on attending and want to be my test subject for the class please contact me asap so I can tell you what I would like you to bring along.

We are also planning a July 10th seminar in Dallas with details to be announced by the next newsletter. Of course the DVD of our 2010 seminar is still available and also a very effective way to learn the technique. We will not be filming the 2011 classes as the vast majority of the material was covered in the 2010 DVD.

We had a few case histories submitted by some great docs this past month which will make up the bulk of this newsletter.

Case Histories

I just had a call back from a patient who was in 3 weeks ago today. I had not heard back from her so I thought that I would give her a call. Her son, 6 months old, has had what she thought was a chronic cold (congestion, runny nose and ear aches). She wanted me to test him but instead I tested her because she was breast-feeding. Gluten showed (Gliadin vial from AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625). I told her to stop eating gluten. I did test him afterwards and nothing showed. She also tested well for Basic B Complex (Thorne Research 1-800-228-1966). She told me that the results were within a day or so. She has been gluten-free since and the baby has not had a runny nose. She could not understand how that could be but I told her that the inflammatory "chemicals" that she produced every time that she ate gluten would transfer via the milk into his system. She is a happy camper now.

A 38 year old female patient who had been under increased stress and was having chest pain and tachycardia for 3 weeks (as well as ongoing headaches for several months) came into the office. Symptoms were getting worse and more frequent and she was becoming frightened that she was about to have a heart attack. She went to an MD who put her on Lisinopril for high blood pressure and recommended she have a stress test (which she could not afford, so did not do. Also the Lisinopril was sedating her too much so she discontinued this with permission from her MD.) With AK testing her neurolymphatics around her heart and stomach were positive, as well as adrenal, thyroid, gall bladder and pituitary reflexes. She tested positive (very weak) for the virus composite vial (AK Test Kits) over GV 27 and over the heart and stomach neurolymphatics. She also tested positive for the Mixed Chlamydia vial. Reishi Supreme and Melia Supreme (Supreme Nutrition 1-800-922-1744) negated her weak muscle reactions. She began these and was advised to stop all nightshades as she tested positive on the Solanine vial. She returned 5 days later and reported her heart pain and tachycardia were much improved, with no instances of those since the first visit, but with ongoing headaches. This time she also tested positive (hypertonic) for the Methylxanthine vials and for Zein, and she was advised to avoid all caffeine/chocolate and corn. I saw her again 5 days later and she reported a few instances of mild tachycardia and chest pain, but that her blood pressure was normalizing. Again 5 days later (4th visit) she was very happy and said she had not experienced any heart symptoms nor headaches and is very pleased. By the way, she also said (on the third visit) that she was experiencing altitude sickness on the days she worked in Aspen. As the Reishi Supreme often helps this, and since it strengthened her weak muscle reactions, I advised her to increase the dose from 3 to 5 or 6 a day when she travels to high altitudes (and to let them partially dissolve in the mouth, as there are several benefits to this). On her next visit she reported the altitude sickness symptoms had resolved.

Barbara, a 60 year old woman came into my office. Her main issues were low energy (chronic fatigue) and sleep apnea (diagnosed Feb, 09). She had a mitral valve prolapsed (diagnosed 2002) and a Hysterectomy (2003). She is regular coffee drinker and she had severe constipation, bloating, gas problems, and overweight problems. She also had severe mid-back pain and mild leg swelling.

First, I suspected some fungus issue. But, I couldn't find any. I checked the individual candida vial but it was still negative as were the fungal composite vials.

I found the following composites tested positive: bacteria, parasite, rickettsia (AK Test Kits). Artecin (Thorne Research) blocked all three. I found food toxins(solanine, caffeine, casein, zein, albumin, gliadin) and food sensitivities (coffee, soy, potato, wheat, coconut, egg) also. I gave her Artecin, Basic Nutrients V (both Thorne) and Ashwaganda Supreme (Supreme Nutrition), and she promised to avoid the food toxins. After three weeks, she called me because she couldn't come back in due to money issues and to say thanks. Now she had much more energy and her sleep apnea was totally gone. She also lost 12 lb in 3weeks she said. All GI issues diminished and her mid-back pain diminished in one week she said, too. But her leg swelling is still on going (it might related to her heart issue and her working situation as she stands 12hrs a day working in ceramic manufacturing company). I won’t know till she comes in to be rechecked.

My wife and I just spent 2 weeks down in Phoenix and as soon as she got there she started having headaches which she said she always gets in my son’s Phoenix condo. Chiropractic adjusting did not help and results with testing for dysbiosis and food issues were unremarkable. I was of course suspecting the condo could be the issue (new building but with water issues). I began to play detective and realized that in Phoenix my wife uses a particular shower cleaner (the water is very hard and this cleaner stops deposits on the shower walls). I told her to stop using it (not really expecting it would help, though on testing it did weaken her). The headaches stopped the next day. A very simple case that could have kept me stymied for months if she had other findings we could have chased.
