I will be teaching a quick effective and inexpensive way to “diagnose” dysbiosis, food issues, toxic metals, organ imbalances.etc. There will be a fair amount of time spent covering my new work on food toxins (I was honored to win the ICAK research paper of the year award along with my friend Dr Kapadia for our paper on Food Toxins) and it will be a very hands on class with lots of workshopping and practical info on products you can use, etc. A new organ screening technique will also be presented that has proven very useful.

New Product
1) Biomagnetic Reflex Scanner (Mid American Marketing 1-800-922-1744). Most of you are aware that if you screen organ neurolymphatic points (NL’s), unless you find a way to stress the patient you get a high percentage of false negative results. Over the years Dr. Schmitt, myself, and others have developed techniques to uncover these “hidden” issues. One technique I have been teaching for years which was developed by the syntonic optometrists was to expose the patients to either red or blue while testing. They found that red tends to stress the sympathetic nervous system while blue does the same for the parasympathetic nervous system. What we did was have the patients stare at a red sheet of paper and screen NL’s and then do the same with blue. The red increased our positive findings about 500% and the blue maybe 20%. We then found that you could actually place the color on GV 20 and screen the NL’s and get the same results. Another way to “stress” the organs (this way we see if these “organs” have any reserve capacity instead of only testing them at rest) is to place the south pole of a strong “pen shaped” magnet on the NL point. The south pole is pro-inflammatory according to researchers like Dr. William Philpott. This too increased the number of findings, even more than the red did. Recently we decided to combine these two by having Mid American create what we call the Biomagnetic Reflex Scanner. This is a wand shaped instrument about 8 inches long. Each side has a strong Grade 38 Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnet with the south pole facing out on each side. One side has red impregnated into the tip of the scanner and the other side blue. It is the perfect instrument to scan NL points, acupuncture points, individual teeth and other smaller areas of the body and you will minimize the false negatives you get with normal patient therapy localization. In fact the number of positive findings is more than the red and the south pole combined (at this point I feel this is the best tool we have for screening NL’s). The instrument is $45 ppd. We are also trying to use it in other unique ways and will report on these as soon as we get a good understanding of them.

Just wanted you to know that I have avoided Solanine 100% since I tested positive at the Orlando meeting. The results are notable. I have about a 60 to 65% reduction in pain. Some more motion and my subluxations are holding better than in many years.
As you know I have been around a while .Your protocols are some of the best stuff I have ever seen. And really fun to work with.

2. From a DC in CO
Hi Michael: I just wanted you to know my personal experience with the vials. I have been suffering from chronic leg (both) pain up into the groin for about a year now after an 80 lb dog knocked me (112 lbs) 4 feet into the air. I landed on my right hip, but he contacted me in back of the left knee. I had stress f'x and mm herniations in the left leg and favored my right for a few months after I started walking again. Anyway, the leg pains didn't resolve. So I tried the 21 day exclusion of nightshades. Minimal results. To make a long story short, I took my vials to my chiropractor and told him to test them all over my legs. What came up was theobromine. And I was drinking a couple pots of black tea per day plus 2 squares of chocolate after dinner. After eliminating all that, my leg pain is down by about 70% and I am again hiking. I had no idea that theobromines could cause a pain syndrome (we find this quite frequently-ML). Thought you might be interested in this. (note- we had found that one of the supplements the doc was taking also had theobromine unbeknownst to her and we are hoping that avoidance of the product will yield even greater results)

Hi Michael,
I graduated from Life in March and will be opening an office on Oahu with another doctor. Technically, it will be an Upper Cervical office (Upper Cervical Hawaii, LLC), however, I will also be using AK and your treatment protocols - I've noticed that I really don't have to adjust nearly as often when I use it. My 8 year-old daughter for example, used to get adjusted roughly every other week, but since I began incorporating your protocol with her, she has held her adjustments for at least 6 months at a time!
On a more personal level, my father has been experiencing problems with the vog (living on the Big Island) every morning and afternoon. He tested positive on volcanic dust, as well as tree pollen. I used Takesumi Supreme and Alaria Supreme (Supreme Nutrition Products 1-800-922-1744) with him, along with a homeopathic remedy, which reduced his symptoms down to about 20 minutes in the morning, vs hours each day.
My wife recently had an acute reaction to paint fumes - she was having chills, aches and pains and tingling throughout her scalp. She took two scoops of Takesumi that night and the next morning and felt better within 10 minutes of her first dose and by the end of the next day, was back to normal. It would be great to share these experiences with others.

I just wanted to let you know that the Schisandra Supreme seems to be making a big difference for Joshua. We had gone camping for a few days, and he hadn’t gotten to take the supplement consistently, but since we’ve been back these last 36 hours and he’s taken it at meals, he hasn’t had any allergy symptoms, even after being outside, and his energy is way up. We are optimistic that this will continue to give him relief, along with continuing to stay off dairy.

Note: The supreme products are very broad in application and even though Schisandra isn’t specifically for allergies it was able to help. WE have also found Schisandra to be an effective anti-microbial in a number of cases We screen all patients on all supreme products each visit.

Dear Michael, I have an interesting case history to share with you, and hopefully those who get your news letter. The patient’s name is Elwood, my neighbors 5 yr. old Golden Lab. Elwood tore his cruciate ligaments in both hind legs several months ago. His family took him to the University of MI. Veterinary Hospital for evaluation. Their recommendation was surgery, or euthanasia. Since the cost of surgery is $7000, this was not feasible. I heard about Elwood’s condition and recommended a nutritional option. I advised changing to a better dog food [Solid Gold Wolf King]. Also, I recommended that Elwood take Lu Rong Supreme (Supreme Nutrition 1-800-922-1744) ,3 per day, as well as Colloidal Silver 2 tsp. per day. Initially Elwood could hardly stand, had difficulty sitting, and was in a lot of pain. His hind quarters also were quite atrophied. Now 3 mo. later he can walk, climb stairs, sit and get up without much trouble, and no evident pain. His muscle mass is also coming back nicely. Needless to say the family is ecstatic, and Elwood’s Vet. Is amazed. Apparently this type of problem is becoming much more common in all types of dogs. I thought it would be good to get the word out. Elwood weighs about 85 lbs. so dose would need to be adjusted accordingly. As always thanks for all you do to help us Docs be able to take better care of our patients 2 or 4 legged!!!

Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health.
The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to sell to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. Volume discounts are available should you want to sell them to your patient and a kindle edition should hopefully be available in the future. Some time later in the year my wife hopes to publish a cookbook to complement this book.
