I hope you are well. This has been the most challenging month health wise of my life and I am still in a recuperating mode and will be for awhile. Those of you that know me may want to read about it.

What I forgot to mention was despite the IV and oral antibiotics and everything else, it appears I didn’t come down with a fungal problem or any type dysbiosis. I attribute this to taking Morinda 2-3 times daily as well as an acidophilus supplement.

New Products
New Pesticide Kits- AK Test Kits 1-888-323-0625. AK Test kits have 2 new kits available. “Pesticide 2” Kit has 26 vials. This includes 6 different mixes of commonly used herbicides and pesticides as well as 2,4-D, DDT, malathion, parathion, many others, and a composite vial of the other 25 vials. “Pesticide 3” kit also has 26 vials including chlordane, many other commonly used pesticides and 1 composite vial. I went to see Dr. Robinson for fibromyalgia and migraines. My pain was debilitating. I have a disability parking permit. I'm 35, a mother of 3 and I'm not overweight, but I couldn't even walk some days. My pain was mostly in my joints and was a lot like gout and rheumatoid arthritis, but I tested negative for both several times. 2. Patient of Dr Lebowitz
Connie is a 59 year old female who presented with a chronic case of lichen planus of many years duration that was quite severe both orally and vaginally. She also felt she had “candida” that followed a flu, and gum surgery in 2008. She was suffering from much depression and fatigue. She had been off gluten for 8 months which she claimed helped her about 15 %. She had made many visits to an excellent functional medicine doctor who had her on Nyastatin, Probiotics and Glutamine with little improvement.
On our exam she weakened on the composite Fungus 1 vial as well as the various methylxanthines (AK Test Kits). She needed to take Golden Thread Supreme, Melia Supreme, Oral Defense (Supreme Nutrition) as well as SF722 (Thorne). We decided to treat it aggressively with all the anti-microbials that tested due to the disability she experienced from all of this.
We put her on our “anti-fungal diet” and took her off methylxanthines as well as supplemented her. Due to schedule conflicts and the distance she came from it took 7 weeks before we did a follow up.
When Connie returned she no longer had depression and had a lot more motivation and energy. Her lichen planus was 80% better and she was delighted. We found a casein sensitivity and added that to her restrictions. She needed to stay on Melia and we added Thorne’s Folic Acid Liquid. She no longer weakened on the fungus vial. We will continue to see her as our schedules allow.

4. Personal Seminars with Dr. Lebowitz: Dr. Lebowitz teaches seminars to one or two doctors at a time in his home/office in Grand Junction, CO. 6. Body Restoration An Owners Manual An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health.
The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to sell to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. Volume discounts are available should you want to sell them to your patient and a kindle edition should hopefully be available in the future. Some time later in the year my wife hopes to publish a cookbook to complement this book.
