Dear Colleagues;
We hope you are well. We just had an amazing seminar in Denver. It was great seeing so many new physicians as well as folks I’ve known for 40 years. It truly is humbling to see how the interest in this work has grown. We will be presenting in Scottsdale at the ICAK Homecoming a one hour talk about our research from the past year as well as a presentation on nutritional testing to students and new docs who attend. In the fall we plan on teaching in Chicago. We always have our personal seminars here on Maui (inquire if interested), as well as our vimeo class https://michaellebowitzdc.com/html/seminar.html. Also, it is not too late to attend our protocol seminar taught by Dr Noah Lebowitz coming up May 14th in London https://michaellebowitzdc.com/html/2023Seminars/London.html
New Product
Hawthorn We have had many patients who have had various subclinical cardiac related challenges due to recent jabs they’ve received over the past few years. I am presenting a paper at the ICAK meeting with our data as well as posting the paper I wrote (not until August) on my website. Last month Supreme Nutrition products came out with Hawthorn. Hawthorn berries (Crataegus Monogyna) are in the rose bush family and native to Europe and parts of Asia. It is often known as the “heart herb” due to its cardio supportive and cardio protective components. Hawthorn has been traditionally used by people with chest pain, heart failure, hypertension, anxiety, blood flow issues, etc. Its usage dates back to at least 659AD in Chinese medicine (1). During the 19th century it was used by doctors in the USA to help with
respiratory and circulatory issues, heart failure, heart disease, angina pectoris, atherosclerosis, and altered cardiac rhythm.
Hawthorn berries are rich in polyphenols which are potent antioxidants. Polyphenols have been associated with decreasing risk of certain cancers, type 2 diabetes, asthma, heart issues, skin aging, as well as certain types of infections. Hawthorn also contains quercetin, rutin, choline, B1, B2, Vitamin C, calcium, iron, and phosphorus (2).
Multiple studies have shown it can help with congestive heart failure. One study showed Hawthorn increased working heart capacity and reduced ones’ cardiac symptoms. It also decreases systolic blood pressure (3), decrease fatigue, alleviates stress dyspnoea, and can decrease palpitations (4). Hawthorn has also been shown to help lower blood pressure in type 2 diabetes after taking for 16 weeks (5).
The bioflavonoids in hawthorn have been shown to dilate peripheral and coronary blood vessels, thus improving blood flow to the heart. It can also reduce tension of the blood vessel walls themselves (6).
Studies on Hawthorn have showed it can reduce overall cholesterol, especially lowering LDL and triglyceride levels. It also helped lower ones’ body weight (7).
Hawthorn is gastro protective and anti-inflammatory (8). It also has moderate antibacterial activity against gram positive bacteria.
Some studies have also found hawthorn may have anti-anxiety effects on the body.
In those with heart failure hawthorn was shown to reduce leg swelling (9). It can also help to reduce blood leakage from vessels by strengthening the inner lining of the vessels (10).
Hawthorn reduced inflammation in animals with asthma, arthritis, and gum disease. It did this by lowering TNF-alpha, Il-6, prostaglandins, COX-2, Th2, and others (11, 12, 13, 14, 15). Hawthorn berries promote the growth of obesity fighting bacteria and could be beneficial as a weight loss prebiotic (16, 17).
Clinical observations suggest it may be useful in people with post viral endurance and energy issues due to viral or vaccine related issues.
Recommended dosage: 1-3 caps 3x per day
Tidbit
A recent article in the AHA journal circulation concluded- “In conclusion, the mRNA vacs numerically increase (but not statistically tested) the markers IL-16, Fas, and HGF, all markers previously described by others for denoting inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle, in a consecutive series of a single clinic patient population receiving mRNA vaccines without a control group.” We will be demonstrating a simple muscle test that we think shows some type cardiac irregularities that eludes the basic traditional tests like D-Dimer, Fibrinogen, Lipids, CAC scores etc. but symptoms improve (according to patients reports) with the addition of hawthorn.
Case History
Kristin Hutcheson DC (Trophy Club TX- Dallas suburb)
3/30 – Patient (mid 30’s) was complaining of having low energy. Has gained weight that she is unable to lose and is feeling bloated. Patient has allergies to dog specifically. Suffering from headaches and migraines. Currently taking levothyroxine for thyroid.
Organs that flagged when muscle testing: Kidneys, Adrenals, GB, Thyroid, Pituitary, Hypothalamus
Positive tests from Lebowitz Protocol Kit: Mixed Parasites 2 internal, Mixed Parasites 3, Mixed Virus 1 & 3, Mixed Rickettsia & Mixed Mycotoxins, Lactose, Zein, Beef, Oats, Theobromine, Paraxanthine/1,7-Dimethylxanthine, Soy & Peanut, Testosterone, Beta Estradiol
RECOMMENDED patient to take: Cats Claw, Chaste Tree, Illicium, two twice a day with food and Takesumi separately before bed (all Supreme Nutrition products).
I also recommended minerals for Kidney issue, and MULTI GLAND for adrenals and pituitary, Hypothalamus & Thyroid.
Patient Returned 2 weeks later on 4/13. She had been taking the supplements for 1 week. She says that within 2 days on the recommended supplements she felt amazing and could see a huge difference. Her belly had shrunk by half. She had more energy and was not bloated and she had gone without coffee for a whole day and didn’t have a headache which is unusual for her.
Upon rechecking her she had hardly the need for any adjustments other than bilateral AC joints and a posterior rib. Every other adjustment held from 2 weeks ago. (for the last 2 months she was seeing another chiro for 32 visits because of a minor car accident). She said she never felt this good leaving that office.
I did not re test any of the vials because she is going to continue on the supplements for a month. I will recheck on her next visit in 3 weeks. She felt so good she decided three weeks was good for her next visit.
Note from LA doc
I wanted to share a personal experience with u to maybe mention to others. I started taking Melia and Dan Shen Supreme when u recommended them to me (among others) when I was so sick. Since recovering I have stayed on them and am having an amazing experience in regard to how I feel. I think I had forgotten feeling this way. I am so much more optimistic and feeling more open hearted and joyful. I honestly feel it is from these 2 herbs. I know u said they can increase Dopamine, Noradrenaline and Serotonin and they do!! I do not want to stop taking them 😂. I think it would be great for doctors to know to test for the herbs for neurotransmitters (which we can do with our test vials for neurotransmitters or the B and E points.) Thank u so much! And thank u for another referral Dr Mary Lou Rane

1 Lebowitz Protocol June 2022 Seminar on Vimeo - Professionally filmed in 4K in the office
This class teaches an effective, easy, and fast way to "diagnose" and treat dysbiosis (fungal, bacterial, parasitic, viral, Lyme), food reactions, lectin sensitivities, metal and chemical toxicity/sensitivity, coagulation issues, organ dysfunction, EMF issues, and much more. It is well suited to both the newcomer to the Lebowitz protocol as well as physicians who have been following Dr. Lebowitz's work for many years.
http://michaellebowitzdc.com/html/seminar.html
A basic ability to perform manual muscle testing is necessary to utilize these techniques. Correcting the above mentioned issues can help alleviate many symptoms, including various gastro-intestinal issues, dermatological and respiratory problems, fatigue, brain fog, headaches, inflammatory conditions, fibromyalgia, auto-immune issues, neurological symptoms, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, etc.
New techniques to help eliminate false negatives, which are very common in muscle testing, are discussed and demonstrated as well as false positives, which often occur frequently in supplement testing. The class comes with a full, easy to follow, set of notes and Drs. Lebowitz is always easily accessible to answer questions you may have after you have started implementing the material.
This is the most in-depth, as well as the highest quality, seminar we have ever recorded.
In addition to the seminar itself we have a 15 minute recording of Dr. Michael Lebowitz taking a new patient history. We also have a 25 minute video on what to expect on a follow-up visit and how to approach continued care.
2. Personal Seminars with Dr. Lebowitz: Dr. Lebowitz teaches seminars to one or two doctors at a time at his office on Maui. This is probably the best way to learn our protocols with a personalized, hands on experience. To schedule one of these classes you need to either have watched the above vimeo or already taken a class with Dr. Lebowitz over the past 5 years. Cost depends on who long the session lasts (usually 3 to 5 hours depending on your needs). Fee is $150 per hour of class. For more info or to schedule call us at 970-623-9565. Noah Lebowitz DC is also available to teach the class (and sometimes you get us both).
3. Lebowitz protocol kit- Call Cynthia at AK Test Kits 970 201-7406 or see our website http://www.michaellebowitzdc.com for more details. These kits will greatly simplify and speed up your testing making you more efficient and accurate in patient assessment. These are “diagnostic kits”. Supplement kits are ordered directly from Supreme Nutrition 1-800-922-1744. With the majority of our patients, this is the only kit we use.
4. Body Restoration An Owners Manual - An updated and expanded version of my first book Body Mechanics published almost 30 years ago. Part 1 has a chapter on each organ/gland. Each chapter teaches basic anatomy and physiology, causes and symptoms of dysfunction, as well as simple treatments your patient can do at home to complement your treatment. Part 2 explains the role of dysbiosis, food intolerances, toxic metals, nutritional deficiencies and neurotransmitter imbalances in health. The book is a great review for the doctor, but better yet it is a great tool to recommend to your patient. It will give them a better understanding of how their body works and the causes of health and disease, as well as the rationale of why you treat the way you do. It is very pro chiropractic. It is available for $1.99 on kindle at https://www.amazon.com/Body-Restoration-Owners-Manual-ebook/dp/B0050653C4/
5. Body Restoration Cookbook - This companion volume to the above book was written by Cynthia Lebowitz and is now available free online (donations accepted). A wonderful tool for your patients as it contains almost 100 recipes- most without gluten, dairy, nightshades, etc. Body Restoration Cookbook
6. God’s Preventative Medicine- It explains how the Levitical Priests dealt with fungal dysbiosis, biofilms, etc. both preventatively and treatment wise as well as the reasons behind some of the other health laws of the Torah. $1.99 on kindle. It is a short easy to understand book and fascinating for the student of health and the Bible God's Preventative Medicine
